Perfect few days away

Great location to explore the area. The cottage was very well equipped, lovely and warm and very comfortable. We had a private hot tub with our cottage which was spot on. The private, free pool and sauna were perfect. Facilities on site were excellent including a free pool table, table tennis, air hockey, table football and other games. Our dog was also welcomed. Would highly recommend.

Only thing I would say is you rarely get anyone working at the reception, you have to call on mobile to get someone to talk to.

Great facilities and very comfortable for our large family gathering.

Very good kitchen facilities. Bedrooms and beds all very comfortable. On site pool table and games rooms and hot tub were well liked too.

In Croft house shower downstairs in back room was quite weak.

There was every thing we needed for our stay. The kids loved the loft bedroom and the youngest took our dogs regularly around the animal enclosure. Dogs really enjoyed their time there. The facilities were fab ie pool table, table tennis, table football and air hockey although this wasn’t working. Swiming pool was clean Could have done with more access (slots had to be booked) understood why but maybe a few hours am and pm with open access would have let families meet up if they wanted to. Wi Fi good reception, full occupancy but very chilled and tranquil. Lovely gesture with milk, welsh cakes just what we needed on arrival. All cleaning items eco friendly which was noted. Stunning cottages the whole set up was clean, and well kept . Stunning flower displays which brought in so many beautiful butterfly’s Wasps in abundance but that’s the forfeit for such a beautiful array of flowers and shrubs. The team were so helpful, informative and approachable which made it feel very personal and relaxed. Sue and Dave were lovely with a fab sense of humour nothing was too much trouble they made us feel very welcome.

Not secure for dogs as Dairy not fenced off, there was a small fenced off balcony area which they could freely access. Unfortunately if we were out the front with children the dogs would not be able to safely (very busy main road just few hundred yards from our cottage) be left to play with children and be part of the fun. Also the side garden was a thoroughfare to the other parts of the site which also put us off utilising the quaint little wooden table and benches outside. Really missed the use of a hot tub espicially as the pool was not freely available. We didn’t book the cottage that had one as this was shared and again slots were allocated which did not meet our needs. Feeding the animals started before the time allocated so grandson missed the start so didn’t join in. Foot ball goals were wooden which would have been used by our eldest (football crazy) couldn’t really utilise it as totally overgrown . May benifit from an area where they could kick a ball with just normal nets. Cottages are dog friendly which was fab, maybe a fensed off exercise area specifically for them and no bins viable for dog waste (did find one before we left by the chickens) luckily weather dry but if it had been raining no shed or facilities (outside tap and socket) to wash down and dry large dogs to be fair we did have two large male Bernese Mountain Dogs which I normally dry with the hand dog dryer. Also the welcome pack could have included information regarding local vets, emergency vet’s, nearest pharmacy, dog friendly pub, cafes, restaurants etc. It would have been useful to have had the full address and post code of the cottages in the book for food deliveries, take away ect.

Brilliant Family Holiday

Everything! This place ticked all of our boxes and more, swimming pool, farm, playground, playbarn and more. We didn’t want to leave and definitely want to come back again.

Relaxing, warm, lovely, friendly and everything we wanted

Very well equipped cottage, and comfortable. Had good heating which was great in unexpected late cold wet spell of weather. We loved being able to book the heated pool and sauna for our own use for an hour everyday. Also, the play barn and animals kept our 3 year old granddaughter entertained on the long rainy day she came to visit

Beautiful well-looked after family accommodation with lots of extra amenities.

Beautiful and well-equipped accommodation, perfect for families and friends alike to stay together over a weekend or longer. We loved that there was a farm and animal feeding for our toddler to enjoy - as well as an amazing outdoor play area, and indoor options also for wet weather. The pool was a huge bonus, and such a treat to be able to book private sessions! We couldn't have wanted for more - and the location was perfect for exploring beautiful Cardiganshire. Hosts were wonderful, they obvious put a huge amount of effort into these cottages - it really shows. We wouldn't hesitate in coming back here again, and recommending on!

Comfy cottages & Beautiful Location - we had a wonderful time!

Beautiful cottages, excellent location. The staff were really helpful. They even went and got us a BBQ when we mentioned that we had planned to cook outside. The ability to book a personal swimming slot was brilliant and really made our stay special.

I rated 8/10 due to having to go up steep stairs to the apartment that was not (to my knowledge) shared on the listing. I would have booked a different option had I known.

Great short break in lovely countryside and very welcoming

Very comfortable and warm and good spaces for our dog to run around and enjoy meeting the various animals.

The light in the inner porch was on all night which seems wasteful and was a bit disturbing to sleep
