Modern and clean…

I booked this for my husbands birthday so we could do a quick weekend visit to Dallas. The price was good, the facilities were clean and up to date. Really nice quiet stay.

You have to pay for parking or find a spot on the street.

Hotel itself was nice. Rooms were nice, pool area was lovely. But has issues.

I was asked to pay for my room when we arrived, I told the receptionist that I had already paid for both rooms via booking.com, I was totally disregarded and made to pay again for the first room. When checking into the second room he apologised and said he had charged me in error but couldn’t be refunded until the following day when his manager was in. Fine. Later we were contacted to say there was a voucher for free drinks for the inconvenience. Great. But when we went to collect the voucher it was actually $10 dollars off a drink, so we explained to the bar man we were told we had a free drink, he was very rude and said it was money off. The door closer on the entrance door to our room was leaking oil, it was all down the door and on the floor, the door nearly took my hand off it slammed shut so hard when trying to get our case in the room. The bottom of the door was also missing, which certainly wouldn’t pass fire regulations. Toilet was also blocked.
