Peak Mazeri Guest House

Situated stunningly under Mt Ushba and at the beginning of walks up the valley - in fact all walks except the Mazeri-Mestia walk which is at the other end of the village. Breakfast (included) and dinner (GEL 30) are generous and very tasty (and salty - drink lots of water!) Bacho our host is very attentive.

A sign at the bottom of the driveway would cost very little and be very helpful. Even the local who took me there had to ask people on the way. There’s actually a very prominent sign at the bottom of the driveway but it’s blank. Very steep stairs - more like a ladder - to get to rooms. One combined shower/toilet for 4 rooms and up to 10 people is a stretch at busy times of the year. It’s quite misleading to say there’s a shared kitchen. It’s a big homely dining room. If you wanted to cook you would have to go into the private part of the house and be interfering with the host’s preparation of dinner. Same if you want to rinse out a cup - there’s not even a shared sink. This place has great potential. The owner just needs to invest some of his revenue back into the property.

This is mountain guesthouse located right in the middle of a spectacular mountain range, and very close to the trail start point up to the waterfall and glacier. Very nice community breakfast (with the flexibility to cater to our multiplied dietary requirements).

This right middle in nature and is a guesthouse with shared bathroom and shower. We knew it before, our teenage daughter had a bit of an issue with that.

The views from the room are absolutely magnificent! The room itself was lovely, spacious, comfortable.

We noticed a few dead bugs, flies, and some dirt on the walls, so a little more thorough cleaning would make the experience better. Unfortunately, there was also no internet connection in the room during our stay.
