Villa Kanonia Gerakas

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday in Zante, staying at a lovely villa that exceeded expectations. The villa was clean, well-equipped with everything we needed for the week, and came with the added luxury of a private pool – perfect for relaxing in the sun. The weather in September was ideal, around 28 degrees every day, which made it feel like the perfect late-summer escape. The owners of the villa were incredibly friendly and accommodating; we even set up a WhatsApp group with them, which made things like key collection and local recommendations really easy. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, including ensuring we had supplies on arrival. Just under 1km away is Gerakas Beach – a spot I can’t recommend highly enough. We spent most mornings there, enjoying the calm, crystal-clear water, swimming with fish and even turtles. The beach is a turtle nesting site, and the local conservationists were fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to chat with tourists about the turtles and their habitat. It really added something special to the experience. The surrounding area, including Argassi, is well worth exploring too – full of natural beauty and charm. All in all, it was a fantastic trip. We would definitely return to this lovely villa and this beautiful part of the world.

Incredible peaceful location with a few local restaurants and bars close by. Walking distance to many beaches. Absolutely loved the private pool and the chickens keeping us company! The hosts could not have been kinder and went above and beyond to make it a comfortable stay.

Nothing! We will be back again. We gave feedback for a few appliances that weren’t working properly and the hosts took it all on board.
