Wonderful host family who made us feel immediately welcome. Our friend recommended Raj, Kriti and family as a lovely homestay to be based in in Bhaktapur and it was a great stay - would definitely love to visit and stay again.
Delicious home cooked breakfasts and some evening meals too. Was lovely to socialise with the family and other guests too. A light vegetable soup that Kriti made was one of my favourite things I ate during my 2 week trip to Nepal!
Raj took us around Bhaktapur to see the main sights and we also enjoyed a forest walk with Raj and Kriti.
The room was large and quiet, the shower was powerful, and there was a great roof terrace we could venture up to as well.
We felt really lucky to be staying during the Nepali new year and Mother’s Day and it was so nice to be included in the celebrations.

La famiglia che gestisce questo alloggio è fantastica! Ci siamo trovati benissimo con loro ed è stata l'occasione per approfondire storia e cultura nepalese (conoscono davvero tanto del loro splendido paese!). Ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa nostra.
Le camere sono spaziose e i letti molto comodi.
Il wifi funzionava bene.
La colazione è stata molto buona, con pancakes fatti in casa e con roba genuina ma il vero valore aggiunto è stato quello di condividere tanti momenti con la famiglia.
C'è un comodo divano a disposizione degli ospiti dove abbiamo letto e anche una splendida terrazza dalla quale c'è una splendida vista.
Zona molto silenziosa durante la notte.
L'alloggio è un po' lontano dal centro storico ma facilmente raggiungibile in taxi.
Non abbiamo visto molti ristoranti o supermercati nelle vicinanze e questo ci ha un po' limitato negli spostamenti.
Grazie però ai consigli dei proprietari, siamo riusciti a trovare quello di cui avevamo bisogno.

House fairly new and clean.
More like a prison then home stay. Window bars and locks everywhere,hence no balcony . Breakfast time is at owners discretion and 9pm curfew. Air port shuttle non existent. Pray for sunny weather for some hot water
