Great pool. Pretty good service. Rather pricey. Dislike the "tipping" mentality that Mexico is adopting from Western countries.

No more a 5 star hotel

Very nice view over town and valley.

Self-expectation of the hotel and reality are far apart. It claims to be a 5 star hotel. It probably was, but is no more. The rooms are very outdated (e.g. bad sleeping quality, some lights didn't work, very old and brocken A/C, brocken sockets) and urgently need a complete renovation. Then the hotel can call itself again 5 star. Only the fact that we got a low room rate somehow justified our stay. Anyhow, we would not go there again. p.s. here on booking com advertised as 4 star, but at site many signs with 5 star

The room was very comfortable. Beds were exactly how I like the mattress to be. View was great. No noise. The most friendly and helpful staff yiu can imagine. Easy access to downtown and other points of interest. Would definitely stay again.

Remodel it!

I really liked the friendly staff. The bar area is nice. Alejandro and the rest of the staff were very nice. Food is kind of spendy compared to in town. Loved the koi pond.

I upgraded to a nicer room, and the although clean, the furniture was pretty outdated. Bed was comfortable, but the biggest let down was the bathroom. The shower was like an old guy at the urinal. See video. Also, replace the sliding glass doors to the outside. The road noise and cycadas are loud regardless of door being closed. The pool is where I spent most of my time and the water seemed clean. Lots of missing tiles, but similar to the entire hotel, in need of a serious remodel.

Good place to stay

Nice place. Definitely 5 star service. The Sunday breakfast was exceptional. The pool is huge. Location iseasy to get in and out of

WiFi access was via What’sApp. Only one key per guest. Pool shows it’s age ( first world problem considering it was huge and beautiful but the rest of the town was in much need of water.

It’s an old run down hotel that’s seen better days. The air conditioning in the room is ancient and ineffective. The carpet is cheap and stained.

the location was amazing and the property was gorgeous

the staff , particularly the head of the restaurant lied to me and my friend about the type of meat we were eating. she lied , them sent the chef up who admitted she lied and told me i was throwing up for no reason. really rude and so was her waist husband. no need to lie about food

This is a very old property, the rooms are not up to date. There are no elevators, you must climb several flights of stairs. The parking is on a hillside and not organized.

Nice views and a great pool to relax by. Not advisable for people with mobility issues.

The general facilities are quite old but cool, the pool is big and very well kept, the views of the city from the bar are spectacular. Rooms are very spacious and beds are super comfortable.

It is not adequate for elderly guests as it has plenty of staircases but no elevator. This should be mentioned somewhere as accessibility is a deal breaker for many people. Also the quality of meals in room service and the bar where quite disappointing. Finally the water from the shower was not really hot but rather "not cold".

Hotel Victoria

The service and attention of the staff at Hotel Victoria is impeccable. Friendly, helpful and eager to assist. The hotel has elegant 'bones' - must have been stunning in its early days. The pool is amazing! Perfectly clean and a fantastic refuge from the heat. The hotel is nestled in lovely trees and shrubs. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Lots of selection, hot &cold food, and lots of fruit.

The room was dated. Air conditioning was working but noisy. Bed was a bit hard for our liking but honestly the staff and setting far outweighed the downsides for us.

Very good

The amenities were great, for example, their restaurant and bar terraza. The food at the restaurant is very good. The atmosphere and selection at the bar terraza is very pleasant. We usually finished our nights at the bar terraza. Also, most of the staff/employees are very attentive and welcoming. They always help you with calling for a taxi. The pool looks amazing, although we didn't swim because the weather was just not hot enough, plus I had work to attend to. Overall, the place is very clean, the views are nice, and it's a great hotel and location.

We had problems with the television. We called once for help, and they did send someone to fix it. However we had problems with it again. In the end, we decided not to mess with it anymore and we just ended up not watching any TV. Which honestly, it was a nice break not to watch TV, so we didn't mind too much. Also, I think a few things felt outdated in the room, but it was clean and nice, so again, it wasn't a deal breaker at all.

Location is good but hotel is getting old bathrooms need remodeling for what they charge

Poor assistance from hotel management, only one key for room!!, they charge me doble per night after one room was cancel by mistake , personal are nice but they do nothing to solve problems, not happy they took advantage of customers.

The location of hotel is about 2o minutes away from the centro. It was quiet away from all the fuzz. The room service after 10pm food was really good! Order the club sandwich! 😊 The bell boys super helpful and nice (hard workers), with any questions go to them.

Big beautiful swimming pool, but its not heated. The front reception not that helpful or friendly. Outrages laundry prices! Paid over $75 U.S. dollars for very little clothes! Un heard of!

Food service and staff were quite nice. The overlook bar had a good view and the grounds are beautifully manicured.

Front desk staff crabby, room without electricity/working phone or TV, very beat and old but good views from 700 and 800 rooms.

Fantastic stay, great hotel with stunning views in an amazing city

The location is on a hill, so the view of the city is wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the pool was great.

The hill / driveway to the hotel is steep so it is best to use the shuttle or taxi, so not so convenient if you want to just get a bite to eat, or just go for a quick walk. A fridge would also be useful in the rooms.
