Neuhof Portion 2 Campsite

We couldn’t get a spot inside the national park so had to book here and the drive to the dunes wasn’t that long, we left early enough to be car no.3. The staff member was lovely, check-in was smooth and she helped us find a camp spot facing the opposite direction of the wind that night. Clean showers with hot water even late at night, there was also a little kitchen area which was useful and the bins near the campsite were great.

This campsite was gorgeous! Lelanie and her family are very kind and work so hard to keep the facilities immaculate. They were probably the cleanest we’ve had in our trip. Hot water was plentiful and just what we needed after a long day in the sand. 40 minute drive to the Sossusvlei Sesriem gate - quite convenient! We would certainly come again.

The location, while not the absolute closest to Sossusvlei was perfect for sunset and sunrise. The campground was quiet and clean and we had one of the best stays we've had the whole trip.

We didn’t end up staying in the end as there was a mixup in the booking and the staff were not friendly about it or very welcoming so we didn’t end up staying and left to camp close by. The facilities seemed limited but in-line with the price.

The staff and owner were not pleasant.
