It was a wonderful location, we had everything we needed and more!
Nothing.

Lovely quiet location with stunning coastline within walking distance. Cosy and comfortable dog-friendly house with a secure, generous garden. We loved how the house is decorated, it has great character and it reflects the care & attention, Simon, the owner (& perfect host) puts into his property. Basically it ticked all the boxes for us.
Nothing. We loved it. Was sad to leave.

Decor in shared spaces was quirky and interesting. Lounge very comfortable.
Great communication with owner- responded to any queries very quickly.
Very clean.
The shower- very cramped within the bath, claustrophobic and uncomfortable. Towels small (would have been nice to have bath sheet size) and not the nicest.
Dining room chairs uncomfortable

Location. Location was fabulous!
The bed was too small and hard

The property is spacious, full of character and has a private garden. The location was great and near too many lovely beaches. There is also a bus stop outside with regular buses to and from Tenby. The host, Simon was also quick to respond to questions prior to and during our stay.
Sadly the property is badly neglected and could do with a deep clean. Doors and woodwork are chipped with peeling paint. Plates and cups chipped and some pans in poor condition with coating scratched off. Carpets on stairs and landing need a good clean as dirt is ingrained. Ditto kitchen windows. Beware the oven can also get smoky. Would have been nice to have another hand towel for the bathroom and another tea towel for the kitchen (+ hand towel). Also a bath sheet for the bedroom as one standard bath towel was not enough (if washing hair). Batteries in the remote needed replacing (in living room & main bedroom) as they were so low we had to keep pressing to get the TV to work. Same for the fire alarm, as in the early hours of our 2nd night the smoke alarm starting beeping and we had to dismantle, wrap in a blanket and hide in the washing machine to stop hearing it. Batteries in smoke alarms in holiday properties should be regularly replaced before they run out to avoid such a situation. If we had contacted owner each time we would have needed two visits to sort out which is disrupting to our holiday. The plumbing also needs sorting as when emptying the bath the plumbing makes a horrendous noise. Netflix as stated was on offer, was not. Tried different ways to access but asked us to sign in or create an account. Reviews about the shower (which Simon stated 2 yrs ago he would be turning into a wet room) are also true. There is also a list of do’s and don’ts in a large folder to get thro'. Also stated there was a red bag for recycle however there wasn't one. Despite these issues we had a pleasant stay as the area was lovely but we would not return to Sea Bean unless a refurbishment has taken place.
In response to the owner’s reply - I have submitted photos which support the accuracy of my review however booking.com have declined to publish. We also received a message after our stay to say we had been the perfect guests!

The property was in a great location only a 11 min drive to Tenby and Pembroke castle. Great property and Simon was very helpful.

Good communication from the host before we visited. Property was in a fantastic location for accessing local walks. Everything we needed was in the house and more.
Everything was great except I wasn't that keen on the shower over the bath as it was a bit tricky to use without the shower curtain sticking to me and I'm not a large person. Just personal preference though so just had baths instead.

Very comfy homely house, excellent big secure back garden for my dog. Quirky, interesting items, framed photos and posters, loved the additional driftwood design and sea themes. Big rooms, central heating, big telle and a cosy fireplace.
No freezer, only 1 loo roll for 4 nights!

Would have loved a walk-in shower.

I loved the openness of the place and the garden was great to sit in. The kids loved the hammock, and the massive TV. They were also happy to have a TV in their room which they don't have at home. The main bedroom was bigger than we have at home, so I enjoyed the space. It was a short drive to the beach where there was a carpark with plenty of space. A shop in the village was great to have, and it wasn't far from Pembroke so we took a drive there. Simon was very helpful when I thought I'd lost my earrings.

Lovely house, really well laid out and very comfortable. The bonus was that it was dog friendly. It had everything we needed and Simon was a joy to interact with. The hous eis on a really quiet estate, close to the sea and the village Manorbier, which is beautiful.
Nothing.

close to where we wanted to be
advertised as dog friendly but more dog tolerant with a lot of rules .neighbours over sensitive don’t seem to like people or dogs next door . this spoiled our visit somewhat as our dogs are quite well behaved yes they will bark if they hear noises or other dogs barking which there was a lot of

Quirky little place with everything you could possibly need. ideally located with a bus stop just up the road so you could get about really easy. A short walk into Manorbier where there’s a lovely little pub and the beach where the dog could run about.
The mattress on the bed could do with changing and we was gutted we was unable to use the open fire, when booking this place it was a big draw for us but upon arrival it stated it was not to be used between April and October, that wasn’t stated when we booked,

The house is very clean, cozy, and in a perfect location to explore Tenby and the rest of the Pembrokeshire coast. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay with thoughtful touches like games for kids and extra towels, etc.
Definitely would love to stay here again when I visit Pembrokeshire coast again !
Nothing, the current bathroom setup is not great, but the owner already has plans to change the bathroom to a wet room, which will work perfectly.

Everything you need plus instructions for local amenities. Very homely.
The plastic shower curtain and clothes pegs!! And the towels were a little on the tiny side - would take own towels next time!! The bathroom could really do with a user friendly shower cubicle - think that would be a worthwhile investment. It might put me off staying again depending on who I was travelling with.

Walking in and seeing a Christmas tree was actually all it took for me (mum) to fall in love, whereas my 13 year old was won over by the Haribos kindly left on the beds 😂
The location was fab and so close to everything we wanted to visit. Simon has gone out of his way for a home away from home environment and we were very sad to leave. Thank you Sea Bean x

The house had everything we could need and more! We loved the comfy sofas and slept like logs 😊
Separate toilet and bathroom, but it's just how the house was built!

Had a great time at Sea Bean - perfect location with easy access local beaches and towns, dog friendly and had a very homely feeling about it. Also, prompt communication from the host if we had any questions. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to explore Pembrokshire coast and have a relaxing break.
