Gîte 4 personnes avec piscine et bain nordique proche des plages du débarquement

De reactie van de eigenaren waren ontzettend snel. De wasmachine ging stuk tijdens ons verblijf en binnen twee dagen stond er een nieuwe. Daarnaast is het huis goed gedecoreerd en is er genoeg servies en bestek. Het zwembad is heerlijk en was vanwege de warmte ook langer s avonds geopend.

Niks, wel tip doorgegeven om de hottub zo te doen dat mensen kunnen kiezen om de tuin in te kijken of het afgesloten willen houden. Ik vond het nu een beetje in een gek hoekje zitten

We arrived much later than anticipated but the owners were both there to greet us and show us around the property which is clean, modern and spacious. The whole place was extremely comfortable and the location was quiet and peaceful, allowing us to enjoy the outside space to the full. In particular, the kitchen was extremely well equipped. All in all, this gite rates as one of, if not, the very best that we have ever stayed in, in France or anywhere else for that matter. We would not hesitate to return.

La casita se encuentra localizada en Le Manoir, a escasos kilómetros de las playas del Desembarco de Normandía, a menos de 10 km de Bayeux y a 25-30' de Caen. Es el lugar perfecto para tomarlo como base y descubrir con calma la zona. La propiedad en la que está emplazada es un verdadero lujo, con piscina (cerrada en invierno) y pista de tenis, con alrededor de 5000 metros cuadrados de superficie cuidada con mucho mimo. Y este mimo se demuestra también en cómo está la casita preparada para los huéspedes. Decoración fantástica, cocina súper bien equipada, con elementos básicos de comida (azúcar, sal, aceite, vinagre...) y todos los electrodomésticos necesarios para una estancia cómoda. Salón con Smart TV y un sofá que hace quieras dormir en él. Abajo tiene también un aseo pequeñito, con el único WC de la casa. En la zona superior están las habitaciones y el baño (precioso y con una ducha increíble). Cama de matrimonio comodísima, con persianas eléctricas que favorecen un descanso pleno. Ambas habitaciones, la otra con dos camas pequeñas, tienen también Smart TV. Mención aparte la atención de los anfitriones. Atentos, con una riquísima botella de sidra que nos regalaron al llegar, pendientes de si necesitábamos algo en todo momento, respondiendo a nuestros mensajes prácticamente al instante y facilitándonos la vida durante las dos noches que pasamos en su propiedad. Ojalá hubiesen podido ser más!!! Resumiendo, si queréis descubrir Normandía, sus playas, sus Memoriales y sus ciudades, no dudéis en venir a esta casita que os hará sentir como si estuvieseis en la vuestra, o mejor, incluso.

Arnaud and Jessica welcomed us to the gite and went through everything with us. They were warm and friendly and we relaxed into our holiday immediately. The gite is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is one of the best equipped I've been in. The space in the gite was perfect for a family of four for 7 nights. The outdoor space with the gite was private and well used by us. The grounds are beautiful. Our children loved exploring them and felt very safe there. We made daily use of the pool, tennis courts and table tennis facilities. While staying at the gite we visited Bayeux twice which is nearby and is beautiful. We explored many of the beaches and museums in connection with WW2. The gite was a good base to get to all of these places. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the gite and we will definitely return as a family.
