Great stay

We loved the location, the room and facilities were great and the breakfast was lovely. Liz the host was extremely friendly even taking us to feed the Alpacas.

In the end we just couldn't manage the stairs but that was an us problem as we knew that there were stairs. The rest of the stay was brilliant.

Really enjoyable, if ever we visit the beautiful Dales again, we'll go straight to Crown cottage.

We were made most welcome by liz, who was very helpful and kind. The room and bed really comfortable. The breakfasts provided were comprehensive and delicious. All in all a very pleasant stay, felt like a small holiday.

Nothing much, just one tiny niggle - we couldn't get the TV to work very well, probably our own fault.. Apart from this, perfect!

Bob and Ann's great weekend.

Crown cottage farm is in a beautiful location, the views of the surrounding area are spectacular. Our stay was perfect, the bedroom had everything we needed and comfortable. Breakfast was so nice good food and the host Liz Gudgeon could not have been any nicer. We do intend returning next year. If you like walking you couldn't go wrong staying here, it is God's Country and I am not from Yorkshire. Thank you Liz we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property in a fabulous scenic location. Quiet but still near Skipton and surrounding area so a great base. Wonderful breakfast and we even got to feed the alpacas! Will try to stay again when we are next in the area.

Location was excellent, beautiful views and walks around the countryside within few minutes. Very friendly host who did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was superb, everything you could want. Our bathroom was large, the shower hot and we even had bathrobes, all toiletries provided. Small fridge in bedroom was useful. Good wifi and TV

Our room was a little small, could have done with a couple of hooks for coats. The bed was very soft,we prefare a firmer mattress but that's not everyone's taste.

Spot on-Blinding!

Location & View was amazing,with a Reservoir & hikeable Craick 500 yards away,The Full English plus other brekkie choices was spot on. Nice grounds to walk around,it was great to connect with the Countryside,the properties Alpakas,Goats & Dogs were a Bonus.

The location is perfect for walking into Embsay and Skipton. There are 2 great local pubs in the village where you can get a decent meal. The local reservoir is a few minutes walkaway and is worth a look. The host Liz, has high standards and these are reflected in the excellent breakfasts and her housekeeping.

Hidden Gem

What a gem of a place in the North Yorkshire Moors 🙏 we were welcomed by the proprietor and walked in to the snug/breakfast room to find a log burner roaring away to take the edge off the cold snap outside. The room was really nice with comfy beds and well stocked amenities, the view from our window was spectacular as we woke to a lovely day. The breakfast was fantastic and our stay was A1. Loved everything about the place and will definitely be returning to sample more of the same , we've actually already recommended the cottage to family.
