Super cozy apartment- big open kitchen and dining room with antiques- and a beautiful owl to have lunch with:))) so very special! Hearing all thr animals and bekng able to pet them and see them all is truly remarkable. such a hreat expereience with my son💙

This is ideal for animal lovers!

We believe that young kids would really enjoy themselves here! We particularly liked the turkeys, which greeted us every time we walked past them. Also fond of the beautiful peacocks roaming around free, sometimes even on the roof, next to our window. And a very cuddly cat stole our hearts. Also fascinating to see large colourful parrots fly around freely. There are so many more animals to see: 12 intriguing polar foxes in an enclosure, pigs, hens, owls, donkeys, alpacas and very energetic dogs. The bedrooms are somewhat tight, because of the pitch of the roof, but you have adequate space in the kitchen/living area. The host was very responsive, despite being extremely busy. She carries a lot of responsibility for the well being of the animals - running the animal rescue park all by herself. Admirable! She put flowers from her garden on the kitchen table and gifted us some fresh eggs and home-made jam. We appreciate this personal touch very much.

Light sleepers be aware that the animals do make some noises (i.e. dog barking, parrots shrieking, etc.) The apartment itself is clean, but the grounds around are somewhat unkempt. Lots of weeds, etc.

An amazing place.

An amazing place. With peacocks outside our door and parrots over our heads. The hostess was very welcoming and all the animals were the best! Big and clean apartment in the countryside.

This is not a fancy hotel but if you are like us and prefer a genuine country experience this is the place to visit.

It was great we could wash and dry our bicycle clothes as we arrived at the The Parrot Hotel on our bicycle tour from Berlin to Copenhagen.

Fantastisk sted, hvor man kommer helt tæt på en hverdag med dyrene tæt på. En ferie med mening og hjerte, hvis man er frisk på det, kan man få lov at hjælpe til og på den måde komme endnu tættere på dyrene.

Det er ikke et 5 stjernet hotel, men stadig gode forhold rent og pænt. Ikke noget negativt at sige om stedet.

Spændende sted for folk, der elsker dyr.Især uglen og papegøjerne

Vi blev modtaget af en smuk påfugl udenfor lejlighedens dør.En ugle sad og kiggede ind på os , når vi sad ved spisebordet, mens den sagde uhu et par gange.Det er et specielt sted med mange dyr.Værtinden var god til at fortælle om stedets formål (dyre rescue center).Det var rigtig hyggeligt at snakke med dyrene og få lov til at gå rundt imellem dem alene.Vi var meget begejstrede for, at vi kunne se 4 Ara papegøjer flyve frit over området. Og der var søde ponys, æsler, lamaer, geder mv
