Casa Odélia

There are many unique items in the house and they were well placed. Bed was comfortable and temperature was perfect. Front garden patio well kept. Neighborhood was relatively quiet and seems safe.

About 6 mosquitos in the master bedroom. Managed to kill them. They probably entered from the open windows of the master bedroom and toilet to ventilate the place. Although this is not required by the property but might be great to have some basic spices and cooking oil. Cooking / kitchen utensils were OK but knife was blunt. Bathroom does not have exhaust vent fan, so towels used did not get dry. Also, we closed the windows because did nit want mosquitos to come in. Might be good idea to have a dehumidifier. Outdoor patio not really having privacy because neighbor's second floor can been seen. Construction was going on with house across at 9/10 am. Some stray dogs were barking late night / early am for about 10 mins. Street light turns on and then turns off every 10-15 mins.

Cozy. The decoration and attention to detail were beautiful. Very clean, smelled amazing. Had everything we needed for a short stay.

We had a rental car and were able to travel around. It’s quite remote for someone relying on public transport.

We felt at home the second we entered. There’s a cute grassy area to enjoy a bottle of wine.

Petite maison authentique et confortable, décorée à l'ancienne, soignée, dans un village calme, à 20 mn en voiture de Sintra. L'excellent et copieux petit déjeuner fournit en plus par la propriétaire à notre demande. Excellent rapport qualité / prix. Le petit restaurant très authentique à 5 mn en voiture, Simoes da Aldeia à Almargem do Bispo. Très bon rapport qualité prix. (la carte est en Portugais, servez vous du téléphone pour la traduction )

On a eu un peu du mal à trouver la maison malgré le GPS, un petit plan serait un plus.
