Shirley, the owner, was exceptionally kind and gracious! She communicated with us through WhatsApp and responded quickly to any questions we had. She was a font of information about things to do in Graskop and the surrounding towns. The facilities were wonderful! We left a previous accommodation because they didn’t have any heat in the middle of winter. Not only did our studio have a heater, there were also electric mattress heaters as well to make a cozy environment. Not only did we have our private studio, we also had access to the upstairs areas, including a sunny and bright breakfast patio, complete with a full espresso machine and light breakfast options like cereal and yogurt. There was also a living room where we could light a fire and hang out with fellow guests. There is a marvelous hiking trail nearby. We have stayed in over one hundred hotels and Airbnbs, and this was one of our favorites!

Everything was excellent. The only issue we had was that it took a long time to get hot water out of the bathroom and kitchen sinks; we had no such problems with the shower, which was such a luxuriously updated unit! I felt bad for wasting water, which I know is a precious resource in SA.

Our stay at Paradise View was absolutely exceptional! It is truly one of the best places to stay in Mpumalanga. Shirley was an outstanding host—warm, welcoming, and an excellent communicator from the moment we booked until we checked out. She made us feel right at home. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. If you’re visiting during winter, this is the perfect place to stay. Each room is equipped with a heater and electric blankets, making every night warm and cozy. We were also spoiled with thoughtful complimentary touches, including welcome drinks, tea and coffee provisions, and light breakfast ingredients. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Thank you, Shirley, for your exceptional hospitality. We truly had the best stay and would highly recommend Paradise View to anyone visiting Mpumalanga. We can’t wait to return!

I loved the Host, she was very friendly and so welcoming.. My stay was amazing.. Would definitely book here again.. I can only imagine how amazing this place is in Spring of Summer.. My partner and I had to book in abit later, and the host was more than willing to receive us.. She is a delight..
