The location was great, so central and a quick walk from everything. The property was lovely, cozy and clean, it was perfect for our weekend away. The wine was a lovely touch so thank you :) We will 100% be returning!

The steps up to the actual flat would be a problem with someone with accessibility issues - it didn’t bother us and we still had a lovely time :)

Brilliant cosy Apartment

Apartment was brilliantly located and has all amenities needed for our stay. Everything was of really good quality and very clean. We had a brilliant time during our stay as we were able to retire to the room when traditional lake district rain decended. The hosts were very friendly made checking in really easy with photos to help.car parking was also very easy and accessable.

Lovely and homely!

Everything was spot on! Very clean and just a lovely homely feel! We loved spending some of our evenings here after a long day out walking. The location was spot on! We absolutely love spending our time in the Windermere area. To not be getting into the car all the time to access the town was lovely. Paul and Sally Anne responded asap to any queries which was reassuring! Thank you so much. We really hope to return next year 😊

Great apartment in a fantastic location

Great location, a few steps away from the centre of Bowness. Hosts sent loads of pictures on where to park, apartment location and how to access the property which were extremely helpful. Apartment was fully equipped, nothing had been forgotten

A lovely place to stay within reach of all local amenities.

The property was beautifully decorated and very clean. We had awful weather but were able to put the heating on to dry our clothes.

Access to the parking was very tight. For those with mobility issues there were several short flights of stairs to access the property.

Perfect stay

We had a fantastic stay here, couldn’t fault it. Very modern (loved the decor), clean, and perfect location. Parking was a bonus. It’s quite difficult to find a property that is nice and doesn’t allow pets! This was our first visit to the lakes and it won’t be our last, we would stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer. Hosts communication was great and they were very responsive. Yes there are a few steps to the property but that wasn’t an issue for us.

Great location. Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed our stay in Bowness.

Location was superb. Bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in.

Bathroom was very tiny. Property is advertised as being 1560 sq ft but that is wrong. There are 34 steps up to the apt - wasnt a problem but would have been good to know beforehand. Parking is communal parking at the top of the hill not at the apartment itself - again wasn't a problem although spaces were very tight but would have liked to know in advance.

Five minutes walk to Bowness pier to see Windermere lake and take cruise. Twenty five minutes walk to Windermere railway station. Very kind landlord who arranged early check in and late check out for me so I can have more time spent in the town.

Beautifull flat, well decorated and well equipped. Highly recommend.

Location was superb, stairs to the front door were steep, but ok once I knew. Interior was very well looked after, very clean and well maintained with many plugs etc for charging devices. Liked the decoration very much and the luxurious feel of the flat. Bedroom and bed were beautiful. Well equipped kitchen and thoughtful bottle of wine. Would highly recommend. We stayed in the flat some evenings as it was such a nice place to be in. The flat was a wonderfully close to all amenities and this made life very easy.

Only one little thing - the sofa was not very comfortable but understood why when it became clear it was a sofa bed. The extra cushions helped, but two adults could not sit at the same time. This was not an issue as an extra chair was provided.
