Karma Homestay A Heritage Home

A very friendly owner who came out on his to help us to reach to his place and suggest us a lot about jodhpur. Our room was upgraded for no extra cost with new aircon which worked superb coz it's quite hot in jodhpur. The place and rooms were clean with a well maintained bathroom.

The location was amazing, a walk to everything. Down an alleyway and around some corners, it was central but also quiet. Room was large and bathroom and hot water were great. No front desk to work with but the owner shares his WhatsApp and was quick to respond to any questions.

Rooftop restaurant wasn't operational, but that wasn't a problem, there are plenty of restaurants close by. Great place to stay and felt very safe.

The owner is super friendly and has a high standard of cleanliness. Rooms a very nicely decorated and clear to see a lot of care has been taken. Location is great amongst the charming blue city and very close to the fort and cute shopping streets.

My mistake in not seeing when booking but only 1 out of 4 rooms have A/C. At 40+ degrees with no airflow it’s kinda crucial. If this matters to you it may pay to check if it has been installed as it is the intention of the owner to do so :) No other review mentions so just a heads up. The owner accommodated us in a room in the other half of Haveli ( which has a different name) and has A/C but as he will admit is definitely not up to cleanliness standard nor has it been renovated.( I was just happy to be able to sleep at this point) Wifi is an issue if you were having to use for work. Barely works in the bottom room a friend was in. I’ll reiterate it was my fault for not seeing ‘Fan’ in listing but hope this helps if it’s not something you look out for these days either.
