Attractive setting, attractive cabin style decor, clean.
Liiving area heater put out minimal heat. Malfunctioning thermostat back bedroom heater, got very hot. Extra comforter in bedroom wicker chest had blood stains on it. No kindling or other firestarters to be able to light wood stove though 2 medium logs were there. Upper steps to cabin had no handrail, were uneven, slippery, difficult to climb safely. Generally not well suited for winter season.

The quirky and comfortable cottage overlooks the Korbel vineyard and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the furnishings are comfortable. The hot tub is nice to get into in the cooler evening. If you're traveling with other people, make sure you know them well since you'll be sharing the Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and the bedrooms are directly connected with each other too.
There were a lot of cobwebs and nooks and crannies that had not seen a cleaning in some time. The outdoor chairs are pretty much unusable since the webbing is broken and even with the cushions you may fall through.
Contrary to what Vacasa told us, it's too far to walk to the community beach with an SUP or kayak. You need to drive there. If you don't have much beach stuff to carry, it's an easy 8-minute walk. the beach is nice but covered with umbrellas, canopies and water toys by all the neighbors who apparently stake their claim for the whole summer. If you walk to the left of the main beach, there's a nice, smaller beach, but it's directly across from River Road, which has a lot of traffic.

The location and the hot tub were great.
First, we were surprised to find that the “2 bedroom house” is actually one building with two bedrooms and a bathroom, and a separate building with the kitchen and living room. We had to go outside to go between the buildings, which was very unpleasant in winter.
Second, due to the odd layout, there is no central heating. There were lots of space heaters, with instructions to turn them all off when not home, which means coming home to a freezing cold house every time. The space heaters took a long time to warm up the place as well because it was not well-insulated.
Third, it was apparent that the place had not been used/checked in on for a long time. A lot of things were broken or empty, and there were old dog poops in the yard from prior renters.
Fourth, when we arrived, the water coming from all of the taps smelled strongly of sulphur. This continued through two showers and several rounds of hand and dish-washing. It eventually subsided but was so strong we thought there was a problem. We reached out to the property management company who said they would be in touch but they never followed up at all.
Fifth, this place is dog-friendly so a warning to other dog owners that the backyard pictured is not enclosed.
Last, we rented through Vacasa and they were not helpful at all, even when we followed up about the water.
