A beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious property.The back porch was our favorite place to gather for visiting and viewing the canal activities. It has a claw footed tub in the Jack and Jill bathroom. A large game room is on the second floor. Also many extra beds are available. The kitchen is well appointed with every possible need close at hand.

The host was very good at communicating prior to the stay. We had everything we needed and everything was clean and welcoming! For future stays, this is a 7 bdrm home with an optional loft for an additional rate during your stay, making both 8 rooms. I thought it was 8 bdrms plus a loft for additional rate. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything we needed was readily available! The backyard is beautiful and the screened in porch was a huge hit for the family to sit and chat while looking out the dock. The big “bonus room” with bunk beds was perfect for the kids as well! Would definitely stay again!

Overall, this home worked well for our large, multigenerational group attending a wedding in the area. The outdoor porch and living space were spacious and allowed us to gather comfortably, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped.That said, there are A FEW IMPORTANT DISCREPANCIES in the listing that future renters should be aware of. As noted in other reviews (which we unfortunately missed prior to booking), the main house does not have 8 bedrooms. There are 7 bedrooms in the main house, with additional sleeping space in a loft area over the garage which must be purchased for an additional charge (to total 8 bedrooms). The optional rental space above the garage for an extra charge has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and a couch that does not make into a bed (In the ad, it was listed as 1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 futons ). While the detailed description does mention the main house loft setup (couches and a bunk), the summary at the top of the listing is misleading and gave us a different expectation when booking (as it stated there were 2 queen sofa beds vs 2 couches with no option for a bed.) The bathroom count is also a bit unclear. There are 4.5 bathrooms in the main house and 1 additional bathroom in the loft/garage space. Because we planned for 8 separate bedrooms, this misrepresentation made sleeping arrangements more challenging than expected, and some guests had to share rooms unexpectedly.In addition, while the home has great potential, we were disappo
