The house is built into the side of the hill with an entrance at the bottom ( ground floor)and one at the top (4 floor) with the guest entrance. The balcony view, the hospitality, the magical breakfast basket that appeared daily and the overall interesting build made this accommodation a good place to stay and made any difficulties trivial. The village has 2 restaurants, some good walking nearby, a small shop and a welcoming tone.
Number of house shows as 21. To find this number you need to know that the numbers of the houses are not linear and relate to distance from start of street ( or so we were told). We phoned the house and were saved by the Marie whose english was as good as our french but we communicated. There is a spiral staircase linking the bedroom floor to the bathroom floor which was OK for us but would be a problem for some people.
