This place is a gem!

We were able to check in early and it was great after a long drive. The apartment was absolutely stunning. The details were all thought out and done with excellent taste. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The terrace was drenched in sun and you could see the ski slopes from there. It was one of the apts without the private sauna, but you could sign up for an appointment for the Finnish sauna, so that was perfectly fine for us. The water pressure in the shower was great and so was the hair dryer, which was strong and of good quality, like everything else. The dishes, knives, glassware and silverware were all of good quality. The view was spectacular. The TV is a smart TV and you can sign into your own streaming service accounts or use a firestick. We will certainly return and bring friends with us. We went skiing and snowshoeing while there and would like to return with our friends. I don't know how it might be in summer, since I didn't notice an AC, but I wasn't looking for one. But it was warm in winter and we could adjust the heat ourselves. There was also a Nespresso pod coffee maker as well as a kettle and a drip coffee maker, if you prefer that. They also welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine. The hosts were wonderful and friendly.

What I didn't like was that we had to leave. And Ok, if there's a tiny thing that wasn't great, then I would say, the pillows. They were a bit flat. But at least they weren't the typical square ones which would have been worse. The mattress were very comfortable and so was the bedding. Also, another small thing is that all the info in the guest folder and signs was written in German. Perhaps sending a link to the digital info would suffice as it can automatically be translated on Chrome upon clicking on it. Regardless, the hosts were able to clear things up when needed. Overall, it was a great place to stay. We loved every minute. In fact, when deciding on what to do, it was hard to actually leave because it was just so cozy and comfortable to stay. This place is truly a gem!

In one word: WOW

I write very few reviews despite, like most others, being hounded about them after any sort of transaction. That’s because most purchases meet expectations - nothing more and nothing less. There are some which are mediocre to terrible that might merit a negative review. And then there are a precious few that are truly exceptional that you have hard time believing during or after about how good it was and you want to book your next stay as soon as possible. Bergzauber Wohlfuhlchalet is one of those exceptional, magical experiences. The chalet oozes quality the moment you enter - everything from the wood floors, to the sauna, to the wood burning fire place (with wood supplied) to the truly fully equipped kitchen are warm, welcoming and extremely clean. The view is fantastic, directly looking onto the mountains and ski area. There is additionally a noise insulated Wellness Spa with a separate Finnish sauna on premises as well as free ski storage (and heated boot storage as well), along with charging facilities if you have an EV. If this was just an outstanding apartment that would be reason enough to stay here. But it is the hosts put it at the next level. Sibylle and Erhard display a consistent and painstaking attention to detail that most 5 star hotels would not be able to match. From the welcome wine, to the handwritten welcome note for our family, to the bread delivery service everything is thought through ahead of time. A lot of the attention to detail comes through on small, simple things - like having more dishwasher tablets or coffee capsules that the days you’re staying.Or being incredibly responsive in all communication (a single ask we had around adjusting light sensitivity of a movement sensor was done almost immediately). These may sound like small things but to be one step ahead of your guests consistently at every turn and to make their lives easier is very difficult to pull off and Bergzauber Wohlfuhlchalet hits and exceeds that standard.

Superb

The hotel was super. Great, attention to details regarding the flat design and array. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing to cook a basic dishes as well as the more complex ones like cakes. The only I was missing was a little stool for children which allow them to reach to the loo or the sink.

The house temperature was a bit tricky. I could not set it correctly or it was too hot or did not hit at all. You cannot login to netflix directly but through google account, which I would prefer not to use on a public device.

Sehr modern und chic und trotzdem gemütlich ausgestattet, mit viel Liebe zu Detail und perfekt ausgestattet. Sehr zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, phantastischer Ausblick . Für viele Wanderungen kann das Auto stehen gelassen werden.

Atemberaubend schön!

Eine persönliche Begrüßung empfing uns im Gipfelnest. Der erste Eindruck war begeisternd. In der Küche ist alles zu finden, was man braucht. Alles super sauber. Da hätte sogar der Salz- und Pfefferstreuer daheim bleiben können. Die Essecke sehr gemütlich und ausreichend Platz für 4- 5 Personen. Mit süßen Platzsets konnte man sich den Tisch schön herrichten. Die Couch war sehr gemütlich, nicht durchgesessen. Ebenso der tolle Sessel im Alpenstil. Alles von sehr hoher Qualität. Und erst der Blick aus dem riesengroßen Fenster - atemberaubend. Die Berge direkt vorm Fenster. Mit dem Balkon konnte die Sonne direkt genossen werden. Das Kinderzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, Schreibtisch und Garderobe ist schlicht aber ausreichend eingerichtet. Dafür befindet sich vor dem Zimmer genügend Stauraum für die Kleider der Kids. Und auch hier wieder ein Hingucker. Die Leseecke mit tollem Sessel und Dachfenster. Sehr gemütlich und sogar mit Büchern ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer hat mich ebenfalls beeindruckt. Endlich genug Platz für die Kulturbeutel. Die Dusche sauber und groß. Zwei Waschbecken und ein Handtuchheizkörper, alles da. Das Elternschlafzimmer ist ein Traum. Riesengroß, mit zwei großen Schränken, einer Garderobe, einem Fernseher und gemütlichen Sesseln. Grundsätzlich toll, dass die Schlafzimmer mit Plissees und Raffrollos ausgestattet sind. So bekommt man die Zimmer auch mal dunkel. Für den Sommer sind die Fliegengitter ebenfalls super. Und als Highlight die persönliche Infrarotkabine in der Wohnung. Richtig super. Auch die finnische Sauna im Haus haben wir genutzt. Richtig toll und total unkompliziert. Genügend Handtücher wurden bereitgestellt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. TOP

Leider wurde uns die Allgäu Walser Card nicht zur Verfügung gestellt. War wohl verpasst worden. Aber da wir wiederkommen, genießen wir sie das nächste Mal.
