Best location with great sunrise

Our second stay in this apartment and on this occasion we had driven from the UK, so the secure underground car park was very useful! Video showing how to get into the car park and to the allocated space was super helpful. We were delayed in arriving by 24 hours, so collected the keys from a key box, which was very simple to do. The location is incredible, with stunning views and easy to get to Menton town centre, the train station and for walks along the seafront. Aircon in both rooms, but we didn't use it as we kept the shutters closed in the bedroom and used the canopy on the blacony to keep the living room cool. Nice sized table on balcony and 1 sun lounger. Starter kits of washing-up liquid, sponge, dishwasher tablets in kitech, and soap, shower gel, shampoo in bathroom. Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of quilts, should you need an extra layer. Good communication with letting agency

We stayed for 9 nights (should have been 10) and we were not given fresh linen so we had to wash them during our stay. The sheet that we had was torn. The built-in fridge-freezer had broken so a replacement was in the dining area, which might be annoying for anyone using the sofabed. Beach furniture would be nice. 3 parasols, presumably left by previous guests

Perfect holiday on Azure Cost

Apartment is near beach and city center. Balcony is with sea view. During the night you can hear waves and that is precious. There is underground garage with reserved place. Host is friendly and helpful guy. Menton is beautiful town to enjoy sea and sun. Town is quiet and safe. Very good for family holidays.

We had a lovely and relaxing time.

As it was self catering, the breakfasts were lovely. We actually went out for breakfast on three occasions. In the town centre the restaurants were plentiful with a good range of foods to choose from.

Having some furniture for the beach would have been nice. However, it wasn’t a problem as there were plenty of shops in town that sold items we needed.

The location is excellent, a very nice part of town, which is just a few metres from the beach, great views and 2 mins walk to the centre of town. We always take a sharp knife, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid etc etc, but Jacques had provided all of these - even down to some very nice bio olive oil! This is only the second time we have experienced this level of detail - very nice thanks! Menton even at this time of year (late September) was bustling with all restaurants and shops open for business. The promenade is simply wonderful, as is the statue of Queen Vic !

The balcony/terrace was very nice, but at times of day the noise from the traffic was unbearable. Too many boys driving their toys hard for onlookers. The apartment has all you need, the photos give you a good idea of what to expect, but we felt with a little bit of perhaps a woman's touch, the apartment could be made more appealing to the eye! My car needed to breath in deeply to get into the car parking space, which I must admit took two of us at times to get the thing in without a scratch! (the problem with the Sortie in the car park annoyed us too! once you understand where the exit is, its ok, but you have to learn!) Good job I was a boy scout, because trying to find your way to where you parked the car in the car park is a nightmare!
