About this apartment rental

This spacious 1 bedroom apartment, is located just 150m from the promenade (seafront) of Bugibba, St Paul’s Bay. It is located in a brand new block of 1 and 2 bedroom self-catering holiday apartments and penthouses (1 bedroom).

Apartment specifications:

The front balcony is 2.2 sqm, the back terrace is 2.2 sqm. The Apartment measures 55 sqm internally,

Lift to all floors, just 3 small steps at the main entrance. The apartment has a shower room, one bedroom that can be set up with either one double bed or two single beds, and a living room with a double sofa bed. There is also a separate sleeping area (opening in the corridor) with two single beds. The apartment can accommodate up to 5 persons.

It was a two-bedroom apartment, and it was just about prefect. The apartment is 4.5 metres wide and 25 metres long, including the balconies. That photo is true. The apartment is good for a solo traveller or a small family, it has a balcony with a washing machine with clothesline and a table, main bedroom, a hallway one metre wide a spare bedroom with two single beds. It has a shower, toilet and basin no bath, with an open-plan kitchen with a living room with a small balcony. The main bedroom and the living room have air-con. The living room has a TV, Wi-Fi and no radio. The kitchen has no pantry but has a cupboard with an ironing board and iron, you can use it as a pantry if you must. I did anyway. The apartment have most the appliance said for a blender which I have to purchase. No garage for the car, have to find a park if you have a car. Good luck for that. There is a fire extinguisher and a blanket. The area is okay, there are cars and bus stops everywhere, uneven walkways but the sea is very close. Everything is in walking distance. There are six groceries shops in 300 metre in a straight line and one out a bit, butchers and vegetables shop nearby etc where I was staying. Bugibba does get busy during the night and day when I was there and in June it was a bit hot being summer in Malta. There is a plus about 1500 metres east along the coast there is an aquarium. There are a lot of restaurants, cafés and pubs in Bugibba. I will do it again.

Neville,Ruth and staff were really helpful and friendly. On arrival our private taxi transfer we booked through Neville didn,t turn up. Contacted Neville and he dealt with it prompty. He arranged another taxi and didn't charge us, up graded us to the pent house apartment and gave us a bottle of wine all free of charge-couldn't have asked for anything more. The apartment was lovely (as all the ones in seashells apartment block are). Great location and secure. However there is major biulding works going on next door as well as in most of the resort. We were woken around 6.30am every morning which we didn't appreciate at all and think we should have been informed before we booked (also surprised no mention of the major building work in the whole resort wasn't mention in any travel forums). Lastly after paying for a private return taxi transfer to the airport we were disappointed that we were picked up in a mini bus and picked up another couple at the other end of the resort. No big deal really but a bit cheeky when we had paid extra for private taxi. Despie the above for what we paid and standard of appartment and helpfulness of staff l would still recommend staying in seashells if you really want to go to Bugibba.
