Villa Poggio is an imposing 10 bedroom Villa from the 18h century villa which can accomodate up to 22 people. The Villa is surrounded by a large property with woods, olive groves and vineyards. Villa Poggio is located near Palaia, an 11h century town famous for the quality of its truffles and recognized by UNESCO. The town has all the conveniences (shops, cafes etc...) and is a perfect base to explore Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Firenze, San Gimignano and Volterra,the Tirranean coast and the Apuane Alps.
The villa, recently restored, has maintained its original architectural features and has been transformed into a charming country villa laid out on three floors. It is surrounded by a 4000 sq. meter park which offers tranquility and shade thanks to its pine wood. In front of the villa it is possible to enjoy dining outdoors, using tables and chairs protected by a large umbrella.

The large pool (18 x 9 mters and 140 cms deep) is located on a natural panoramic terrace looking out over the surrounding vineyards. Ideal for an evening aperitive it offers privacy and a solarium with pool loungers and umbrellas. Next to the main pool there is a small pool for children (6x6 and 50 cms. deep). The villa has Wifi Internet connection, inside and also on the veranda in front. There is a ping-pong table , a laundry area in an outside building as well as ample parking space for many cars. The outdoor area is fully equipped with garden furniture. The property has a wine and olive oil production.
