The location is good, as long as restaurants are open - they weren't. There is a good secure and dry place for the bike about 20m away and the instructions regarding key collection perfectly adequate. Pouilly is nice - eat at Les 200 Bornes about 1.2km south. Much better than restaurants in the town.
I was perfectly comfortable here but I think the apartment is a little tired. I was pretty damp from a day of cycling in the rain and there was no hairdryer, no hangers for my clothes, I could not find the instructions for the radiators. A chair in the bedroom would be useful. Also, no Wifi which is a bit of a pain for someone travelling around.

The apartment was very comfortable indeed and with plenty of space. After a long day cycling I could have done without the climb to the second floor but no matter, not really a problem. The facilities were useful especially as I had to have a pizza, all the local restaurants being closed on a Saturday night. Why? Actually, one was open but it had poor reviews and was too expensive to take a risk. Very good boulangerie up the road - the lady made me a delicious baguette as I started the next day’s cycling.
Somewhere secure for the bike. It got wet even though under the outside stairs. Why are there never hooks for towels? Someone somewhere needs to change the batteries in their smoke alarm. Constant beeping, all night long although I managed to prevent it disturbing my sleep by shutting the bedroom door firmly.
