Forestay -3 BHK Villa Kochi

We liked the surroundings of the property, how clean they kept the back and front yard and how they allowed our pet to stay with us. We liked the walk we did to see the suburb and local people and shops.

I could not give an excellent rating for this property because it lacked some things as mentioned below. I am a frequent traveller with reasonable expectations from any host. First of all, the house has two toilets and when we reached the property, both of them were not clean. I cleaned both myself so that we can use them. That is really unacceptable when they collect 500 extra for cleaning from guests. Then the house need to be dusted thoroughly. We cleaned a little bit with whatever we could find. When we go to a villa, which is advertised through booking.com we expect a little bit more cleanliness, though not too much. One big thing missing, which was not mentioned in the site when booked. was, there was no fridge in the house. Normally we expected one small one since dinner or breakfast was not provided with the house. We bought some stuff but could not even keep our water cold and food got spoiled the next morning in this heat. A small fridge could have raised the rating for this place definitely. Another luxury would have been a small TV or some card or board games to keep guests entertained during their stay. It would be really hard to keep kids entertained in this property without these small additions I felt. Next thing was the lack of spoons to eat or to cook with. Luckily we brought our own small spoon which helped us to make coffee at least. Maybe, host can look into adding a little bit of spoons, clean coffee powder, clean salt packet, clean sugar packets etc to increase their rating. I am not posting this review to make anyone feel bad, take it as constructive criticism and it will help the future travellers a lot to be prepared for their stay. Also, when you say, you provide linen, you should provide for each guest one towel at least, not one towel for all. For the future travellers, though the price shown in Booking.com is 1684, property will charge you 2386, not sure why. Just be prepared to pay a little more. That's all, but still its ok price
