I was expecting this place to be more like a small roadside hotel, but it is actually a lovely inn, with a large lobby and updated rooms in a convenient location near Lake of the Ozarks.
I was there in a quiet time and many things had been disabled, such as the refrigerator and microwave, the television connection, and wifi. Since I was not moving food, the refrigerator and microwave were not a problem for me, but their disconnection might have been a problem for somebody who relied on them being active and ready upon arrival. I had to ask the front desk for help to get the TV to provide channels and the wifi did not work in my room. I called for help there, and one of the front desk staff indicated that, since the lobby had no issues, the problem was clearly with me. So I took my email and work up to the lobby for the evening. I think the other staff member eventually rebooted and things worked a bit better. Perhaps when the season is busy, everything works optimally in the room. The hotel is otherwise very lovely and clean, but it does not offer breakfast.

Woman at the front desk was nice. It was clean in the room.
The bed was very hard, like sleeping on the floor. Both of us didn't sleep well and woke with back and hip pain. It's so close to the highway that the noise could be bothersome. We were in room 12 on the front side of the building. There were 2 little dried up packets of shampoo in the shower, but it was a joke. Definitely bring your own! The room TV was tiny and could be frustrating to use, having to ensure you're pushing the TV button for volume but NEVER for the channel change, and pushing the satellite button to find a station. The satellite would randomly shut off and we would have to start over.
