This would have been a 5 star except for the issue with the so called "Smart AC" that only works when it senses movement in the house. Great for energy savings but terrible when everyone goes to bed and the house heats up. Especially when there were extreme heat warnings the entire time we were there. There was no welcome booklet as stated in the check in information so I had to go through the VRBO a App to contact the property manager. Other then those 2 things the place was great. Good location, very clean, and my favorite part was the pool. We definitely spent a lot of time in the pool.

Really a mixed review (overall a strong 3 or weak 4 stars). The house was old but in decent shape with some recent renovations. It worked well for our family (wife and 3 kids inlaws) and was very conveniently located for the kennedy space center and national park/beach. We got to see 3 rocket launches while we were here with only a 10-15 minute drive for the best spots, and we probably could have seen most of the launches even from the house itself. The kids really enjoyed the pool. While there weren't a lot of bells and whistles otherwise, most everything was functional with 2 exceptions. 1) The main issue was with the thermostat and a lot of back and forth with the manager about getting it to function correctly (we were told we could set it as low as 72 but it kept defaulting to 76 if we weren't continuously adjusting it or turned off the wifi connection. This was improved but never fully fixed during the entirety of our stay). 2) There were also some issues with the hot water heater. Without the above issues, I would give the place a strong 4 stars. Even with them it was still a wonderful vacation with lots to like about the place, but there were definitely some unnecessary and avoidable (if relatively minor) frustrations that were not welcome during our R&R.
