We at Resting Gull Lakehouse want to invite you and your lived ones to make exciting, long-lasting memories here. Our Lake house is your home away from the city to spend quality time with your friends and family. Conveniently located near downtown Gravenhurst, but far enough away for a private and relaxing stay.
At places like this, you are able to reconnect with life and breathe out again. Life's short, experience it deeply with loved ones.
It's a cozy 4 bedroom lakefront cottage with direct access to Gull Lake through our private docks. Every day and night, you'll be able to experience breathtaking sunrises, and stars on the swing or feel the cool fresh air as you BBQ in the backyard while listening to the soothing rise and fall of the waves.
Other things to note:
Not too far from the property is the Gravenhurst Railway Station. Full of history, it was a stop for Northlander trains before being discontinued in 2012. If you listen closely, you'll still hear trains running twice a day. A unique and exciting sight for those coming from the city!

We had a great time. The cottage is clean and spacious, and all the amenities one would want are provided. Will definitely go back, highly recommended for those looking for the perfect getaway.

Great location right on the lake with canoe and kayak. House itself was quirky. Clearly and older property that has had some DIY to update some areas. 4 bedrooms , 2 on top floor 1 on middle floor and 1 in the basement. Could be difficult with sleeping arrangements for younger children. Overall house was spacious and clean and grew on us over the week. Sun loungers would be a nice addition.
