A Provençal Oasis

The whole compound is nicely laid out with several self contained units around a lavender field. Great pool with a lovely view onto the woods. Private access to the river / cascade which is great when travelling with a dog, to exercise them and cool them off. The owners Adda and Martin are super nice, helpful and welcoming. Sillians village with a bakery and a restaurant is only a 30 min walk away. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway!

Quiet stay

Conveniently located near many beautiful Provençal villages and the Gorges du Verdon. The nearby Cascade de Sillans is also well worth a visit. The small bungalow and swimming pool were lovely, with stunning views and a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Exceptionally quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The BBQ in the bungalow was a plus!

One suggestion for the owners: I would personally prefer to pay a slightly higher rate upfront rather than having to withdraw cash to cover a deposit—especially since there was no inspection of the bungalow when we left, which made the purpose of the deposit unclear. The extra charges for towels and bed linen also felt out of place; in a hospitality setting, these essentials are generally included. That said, I want to believe this is done in good faith rather than as a way to take advantage of tourists. Don’t forget to bring your own toilet paper and dishwasher tablets—only one of each was provided. Additionally, be aware that pets are not allowed in the shared spaces—even on a leash—and there’s no distinction between small or large dogs. We had a young puppy with us and unfortunately had to either leave her alone in the house or take turns at the pool, which was a bit disappointing. In other places we’ve stayed, leashed (small) pets were allowed to sit with us in common areas (of course, not in the pool itself). I’d clarify this in your policy.

Perfection

Martin and Adda were very friendly and kind! We were welcomed with a rosé, homemade fig jam and lavender. Martin also took us on a 20-minute hike from the villa with a direct access to the river to an unpopular waterfall hidden from tourists and surrounded by nothing but just the water falling sounds. The villa has an amazing mountain view from the big swimming pool where we enjoyed the sunrise every morning and moon-gazing in the evening. Adda has her lavender garden that covers the villa with a pleasant smell. We came just after lavender’s season, but I can imagine the garden would look amazingly purple during its season. The studio is well equipped and prettily decorated with a terrace and a BBQ. Guests also have access to the covered terrace near the big pool where we had lots of good chats with Martin and Adda. From the villa, Sillans de la Cascade is just 30-minute walk away, but we only went once because we loved the little waterfall Martin so much. We ended up extending our stay also. We would definitely come back to relax and meet Martin and Adda again!

Un havre de paix

Le calme, le lieu et l'accueil d'Adda et de Martin qui ont su faire de cet endroit un havre de paix où on se sent très bien. On a l'impression d'être accueilli par des proches qui mettent tout en œuvre pour qu'on s'y sente bien. Farniente assuré au calme et dans la nature proche de la cascade...

Een paradijs in een paradijs

Alles is mooi hier, de ongeving, de accommodatie, maar vooral de gastheer en -vrouw. Wij vroegen eerder terecht te kunnen omdat we een online herdenkingsbijeenkomst wilden bijwonen. De gastheer zorgde voor een hoek waar we terecht konden terwijl ons huisje ook al met spoed voorbind was schoongemaakt. We kregen zelfs koffie aangeboden. En bij het afscheid kregen we ook nog zalige huisgeconfijte vijgen en een zakje lavendel mee. Er valt nog zoveel meer positiefs te zeggen, maar dat moet je zelf maar ontdekken.

Un havre de paix

Adda et Martin, nos hôtes, sont aux petits soins dès notre arrivée et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Le lieu est un vrai havre de paix, les logements sont propres, super bien équipés, fonctionnels sans parler des espaces de détente (piscine, jardins, tennis,…) De plus, il y a un accès privatisé à la rivière bref tout est fait pour passer un séjour de rêve.

Un endroit magnifique au cœur de la nature, complètement équipé pour pouvoir passer un super moment, accès à la rivière… Hyper confortable et Martin et Adda ont été très accueillants.

GEWELDIG

Het ontvangst van Adda en Martin, was geweldig. We kregen meteen een hele rondleiding over hun prachtige accomodatie dat grenst aan de rivier. Veel leuke faciliteiten, tennisbaan, badmintontafel, jeu de boulesbaan en een groot verwarmd buiten zwembad, waaraan het heerlijk relaxen is. Het appartement heeft een heel leuk uitzicht op de mooie binnentuin en een eigen terras waarop een plancha om buiten te kunnen koken. Kortom echt een topverblijf gehad, mede ook door de gastvrijheid van Adda en Martin

Prachtig verblijf met fantastische hosts

De prachtige ligging aan de rivier, vlakbij een gezellig stadje, met een zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije host. Mooi en goed afgewerkt appartementje.

Er ontbrak een kast om wat spullen in op te bergen tijdens je verblijf, of een ruimte waar je je tas normaal kan laten. Nu moesten we uit onze tas leven, wat het net iets minder maakte.

De gastvrijheid, ruimte en rust. Daarnaast was er zowel een (verwarmd) zwembad als een privé strandje bij de rivier.

Ce lieux est juste magnifique: des chambres très belle avec un jardin magnifique, une piscine extérieure chauffée, un accès à la rivière qui vaut le détour, un terrain de tennis et un terrain de pétanque à disposition L’accueil était parfait, les hôtes sont très agréables et très gentils Je recommande vivement ce lieu pour vos séjours à venir

een fantastische plek aan de rivier waar je helemaal tot rust komt

De ligging was prachtig! zwembad, tennisbaan e.d. bijna voor jezelf, fantastisch! de eigenaren ook zo hartelijk en behulpzaam, we komen graag terug!

badkamer is een beetje verouderd maar het werkt allemaal prima! de avonden zijn in april soms fris maar de airco werkt perfect

Un séjour merveilleux ❤

Tout est comme sur les photos ! La propriété est exceptionnelle ! C'est propre, neuf, beau et confortable ☺ Il ne manque rien.. Nous avons passé une petite semaine fantastique chez Adda et Martin des hotes merveilleux, simples, et chaleureux ❤ avec qui nous avons sympathisé ainsi qu'avec d'autres vacanciers ! On s'est senti comme à la maison et presque en famille.. C'était super Nous en garderons un très beau souvenir et espérons pouvoir revenir aux Mazets 😍 Pétanque, cascade, beaux villages, barbecue, plancha et proche des gorges du Verdon ! Et merci à Adda et Martin d'avoir si gentiment accueilli notre chiot 🙏 Et surtout n'oubliez pas de goûter les figuons de Adda 🥰

Parfait pour un moment dépaysant

Accueil au top dans un cadre idyllique! On a adoré ce week-end dépaysant et le relationnel qualitatif de Adda et Martin. Terrain de boule,de tennis, table de ping pong, piscines limpides, gites tout confort et le petit plus un accès privé à la rivière.Je recommande ce lieu sans hésiter. Nous on doit y retourner prendre notre revanche à la pétanque !

Studio was in orde. Adda en Martin zijn symphatieke en hulpvaardige hosts die je graag entertainen met een gezellige petanque ‘s avonds vergezeld van een lekker glaasje wijn. Zwembad netjes en heerlijk warm.
