Clarence Riverside, Royal William Yard

Very historic setting with restaurants, shops and entertainment within walking distance.

The property was clean and had everything we need. Such a beautiful mix of old building with modern facilities.

I don’t own it myself.

The beautiful and quiet surroundings with plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby, plus the neat house and the thoughtful touch of having the Christmas tree decorated upon request.

There was a bit too little cutlery, and the sofa in the living room wasn’t very comfortable.

Royal William Yard works as a location for us and this is definitely one of the nicer places we have stayed - there are some aspects that will not suit all (this was a duplex apartment) but the upper floor was spacious and generally well equipped. Loved the Plymouth gin awaiting our arrival! Bed was very comfy - slept like logs every night.

Some real thought into some aspects was not consistent throughout - great Dyson fan much needed due to weather. The window openings took some getting used to and the bedroom rail falling on my head was amusing as we realised there were blinds too. Some helpful items available but then other things like black bags, dishcloths, etc, were not available and sofa (sofa bed?) was not so comfortable - we also could not get live freeview TV but not a great loss.
