Lovely.

This was my second stay at Stay at My Place. The decor and location make you feel like you're in Bali as it once was. The sunrise over the rice field in the morning combined with breakfast is a very special experience. The staff are adorable and attentive. The Wifi and TV service are reliable.

Like many places in Bali, it is getting a bit run down. Even though the room is cleaned well each day, be ready to have Geckos (and Gecko poo) and other bugs in your room throughout your stay.

Serene, Zen and Over my expectations!! If you are looking for tranquil and zen experience, this is the place! 🧘 The owner of the property is so particular and meticulously put everything together! Even you can find incense burner and one box contain super nice smell and fragrant flower petals and herbs in your Room! ( see attached picture)✨💫🤩 And they provide 😋 delicious home made pineapple jam / marmalade! 😋🤤 for breakfast. And the staff lady is so attentive, polite and so friendly and kind. 😇

Perhaps signage can be put near the pool, that it can shows the pool 180 cm ish deep.

Everything was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and simply cozy and welcoming. What truly made the difference were the incredibly kind and attentive staff. Every single person was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring – I felt right at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was a daily highlight: freshly prepared, super tasty, and served with so much love. I was so happy and impressed that I ended up extending my stay for another whole week! I’m beyond satisfied and grateful for the amazing time I had here. If you’re looking for a place with charm, warmth, and a real feel-good atmosphere, this is it. I’ll definitely be back! ❤️🙏

Perfect couple getaway

Wonderful accomodation, very friendly staff, clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a lovely way to start the day, and the pool was right outside our door, with a beautiful rice field as our backdrop.

The perfect place to stay in Canggu with a super friendly staff & a gorgeous view 🤩

Everything was great, but the staff was the pest part!!And Isabella made sure to welcome us even though it was past 8pm! All our needs were fulfilled & when we needed assistance they were very kind & immediate!

The bedrooms have a lot of light coming in through the upper windows so bring a blindfold!!

Beautiful and peaceful villa

Beautiful villa , nice swimming pool. I didn’t see anyone until the last day I stayed , it was just so peaceful. It looks much better in person than in the pictures.

There were stains on my bedsheets and towels, I mentioned it and they gave me new towels. On the other hand the few days I stayed there I was woken up at 7.20am because of the staff talking and laughing really hard, the villa I stayed in was facing the swimming pool so they were around there. Breakfast could be better too. There were some bugs as well, specially ants were everywhere (someone brought a spray but still were some around)

Property was amazing, very quiet. Had the pool to ourselves. Staff were lovely and went above and beyond especially making us fresh breakfast every morning. Very modern throughout. Only feedback would be possible some anti insect/lizard mesh to control them in the rooms.

A beautiful villa set in stunning gardens with exceptional staff who went above and beyond, delicious freshly made break

The property is set in the most beautiful gardens , the staff were so lovely went extra mile always to make sure we had everything we needed , from letting us stay in the room slightly longer whilst my partner was having medical treatment , to sorting out scooters for us. The breakfast was also very unique and tasty , made fresh for us everyday and also varied day to day. The room was clean and such a beautiful interior. We also loved the pool and the loungers were the comfiest we have had anywhere!! The location was great for us, slightly out the super busy centre but only a short bike ride away from it all when we wanted to go for food etc. We would definitely return if we were in Bali again.

Not a huge issue but the aircon didn’t make the room super cold & also quite a lot of the towels were stained , so could do with maybe a refresh on those! Both minor things , we would recommend still as our fave place we have stayed in Bali !

I love this place!!!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially Anup, Ari and issabella. (Likely spelled those incorrectly) Amazing breakfast every morning, stunning views and in a quiet location out of the hustle and bustle but still only a short distance from the main attractions of Canggu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Great value for money.

It is not that I don’t like, but i just need more time to get used to this - The gecko squeaking sound was really loud which I am not too used to, but it would not bite or harm us anyway. The rest is all fine.

Only a short drive into the busyness of Canggu with shops, beach and restaurants. I will absolutely be back here to stay 💛

AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE IN CANGGU

Very nice and authentic location just outside Canggu center. The rooms are single small chosy houses letting you make a unique experience. Bathroom is well equipped and partially „open“ on the top. Breakfast is not a buffet but they prepare it very good for each guest taking care of intolerances/special requests. The food quality is extremely high. Chance to make good tea at any time. A special thanks to Anom and his team who made our stay perfect.

It was sufficient

The staff was great, really lovely people. They were very helpful and thinking along with your plans and ideas. Also the price was good.

This place is surrounded by chickens and pigs(?) that are making noises the whole day. Especially in the morning around 5/6. Also the room is noisy and there is no mosquito net. Furthermore you’ll need a scooter to get to places.

Would have given this place 10/10 if not for the roosters that start crowing non stop from 530am every morning. Makes it impossible to sleep in.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at in Bali, location was around 15 minutes from the main areas but had its serenity of its own. The staff were absolutely lovely and I enjoyed every bit of living there! Looking forward to going back again soon.

Relaxing escape away from Canggu hustle and bustle

The wonderful staff. We were well taken care off throughput our stay. I was pleasantly surprised to see they accommodated my gluten-free request at breakfast. The ricefield view and surroundings make for a pleasant habitat. The bed was comfortable and the room was very bright. Water was hot and WiFi worked well. Shared kitchen is well equipment for cooking your own meal. It has a large table with nice relaxing couch and sunbed area next to it. Transport is needed to get to cafes and restaurants. If you have a scooter, then you can reach local Babakan ones in 3 minutes. Canggu is only 10 mins or so away.

Air-conditioner struggled to cool the room down. We had to keep the curtains closed all day so the room didn't turn into a greenhouse. There's a section of glass walling above the curtains that let in light, so if anyone leaves their porch light on, then it brightens the room, making it a little hard to sleep.

Relaxing and Beautiful Accommodation

The accomodation is stunning. The rooms, the pool and the common areas all look exactly like the photos. The staff are very accommodating and always around to help. Their English was also very impressive.

The aircon didn’t work very well and I was hot a lot. The location isn’t great but it’s fine if you have a bike or use gojek

Peaceful place close enough to canggu

Rooms with character. Comfortable bed with quality bedding. Quiet area. I found it peaceful, good WiFi and located next to a rice field for that quintessential Bali feeling. The shower was hot and had decent water pressure. The provided soap and shampoo were artisanal. They smelled great. The pool is next to the rice field and it was a great lounging area. There is a fully equipped communal kitchen. Location is 8 minutes drive north of the main road and another 5 minutes down to the touristy canggu area, which is where most of the restaurants and activities are. Easily accessible with your own scooter. Sweet and helpful staff.
