Aygut Guest House

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir wurden abends köstlich bekocht und das Frühstück war absolut spitze. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse, auf der man sich ausruhen kann. Die Unterkunft ist blitzsauber!

Es ist nachts nicht ganz ruhig. Besser man wählt ein Zimmer zum Garten hin. Die Gastleute sollten die Toilette reparieren.

Bathroom not well maintained and not very clean

First of all, a shout out to the lovely hosts of this accommodation. Even though the owner did not speak English, it was nice to have an additional hosts who did. We had fine conversations as a result. We stayed only 1 night at the guest house and were showered with delicious food in 24 hours! We actually felt guilty that we couldn't finish that much; the whole table was full of freshly made food. The guest house is beautifully situated between the river and the hills. Walking in the hills behind the village gives great views! Even though the accommodation is not on Google Maps, it is easy to find. It is right opposite the water point and bus stop, on the main road. Really a place to unwind!

We could choose from one of the rooms that were still free. Since light wakes us up quickly, we opted for a slightly darker room. It was nice to choose our own room, but good to know that none of the rooms have an ensuite bathroom. There are several bathrooms, but you basically share them with the other rooms (should they also be full). Unfortunately, though, the bed/mattress in our room was not good. The mattress had sagged completely, which meant we slept poorly and suffered from back pain the day after. The pillows were also a bit on the hard side and with down in them. I myself am a bit allergic to that and prefer synthetic pillows.

Shura is an amazing host. She kindly showed me around and was always there if I needed help with just about anything. The nature is stunning. The food was outstanding, so I ended up having all my meals there. Highly recommended
