About this cottage rental
Le Chaussis is a spacious, charming 5-bedroom house, fully renovated in 2022, located in the heart of a one-hectare wooded park, adjacent to a 7,000m² private lake regularly stocked with fish (tench, roach, carp, pike). Ideal for gatherings with family or friends. Fishing enthusiasts are welcome!
You'll love the wooded grounds and the south-facing terrace overlooking the pond. To keep you busy, there are plenty of games to share with adults and children: pétanque court, badminton, a children's climbing frame, shuffleboard, mölkky... and of course, all the furniture you need to relax and eat outdoors: garden furniture, sun loungers, and barbecue.
Shops: All shops are located in the center of Aron, 1.5 km away. Mayenne town center is 5 km away.
Numerous hiking trails are available all around. Access to the Mayenne towpath and the Vélo Francette (Normandy to La Rochelle) are 5 km away.
May'N Loisirs water sports center in La Haie-Traversaine, 10 km away: Wibit inflatable water trail, paddleboarding, giant paddleboarding, single-seater kayaking, family kayaking, pedal boats, a water pool, beach, and swimming.
Near Jublains (Gallo-Roman town), Mayenne (castle and museum), Sainte-Suzanne (medieval town and small town of character), and the Saulges Caves (Museum of Prehistory, climbing), the Aron region is full of historical sites. Don't miss Fontaine Daniel (home of the Toiles de Mayenne). All these sites offer rich entertainment programs to explore the area in a different way, as well as shows and concerts.
The price of the stay includes household linen - bathroom linen - beds made on arrival - heating costs (electricity with a threshold of 15 kWh/day) - wood for the stove.
