Terra House

The apartment is beautifully furnished, great location, enclosed yard where you can park your car, cozy terrace with everything you need for grilling.

It's dirty, the floors haven't been vacuumed, the sides of the stairs you grab onto are dirty, so you even get a scratch on your hands when you climb them, the kitchen walls, doors, and chairs are stained, the curtains are dirty, there's dust everywhere. The bathroom smelled of sewage upon arrival, there are a lot of black dots on the ceiling, it's hard to tell if it's mold or dried flies, hairs stuck to the walls from previous guests. Dirty dishes are piled up in the kitchen cupboard.

We’ve stayed at Terra House before and were very happy to return. The location is fantastic—just a short walk through a beautiful pine forest to the white sands of Ventspils beach, and very close to the outdoor water park, port area, and town centre with plenty of dining options. The house itself is modern and stylish, with a spacious double-height living area and mezzanine with a shared utility room. We really appreciated the semi-private garden space and private terrace, and noticed the improved privacy between the two adjoining properties since our last visit—a big plus! The kitchen, while still quite simple, has been upgraded with the addition of an espresso machine and worktop oven, which made a real difference. We greatly appreciated our host, who was very thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay.

The kitchen is still missing a few basics (e.g., a grater and pasta colander), though we knew what to expect and came prepared.
