The best thing about this property is the location - it is literally ski-in, ski-out, less than 10 metres from the slope. That is a huge advantage and really should be mentioned more clearly in the description. We also received a room upgrade, which was a very nice surprise. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the ski room was very convenient. Overall, everything felt easy and comfortable, and we were very happy with our stay.
There was nothing major to complain about. The only thing I would say is that the ski-in, ski-out aspect should be highlighted much more clearly in the listing, as it is one of the property’s strongest selling points.

Spectacular location right by the ski slopes. This is a true ski-in ski-out location, and it was a perfect setting for a week of skiing in the mornings and working in the afternoons. You are right in the Valtournenche ski area, and connected easily to Cervinia and Zermatt (beware that the connection can be closed due to wind sometimes.) I had a studio with a kitchen, fridge, dishwasher and convection oven that made being self-sufficient easy. The chalet is renovated tastefully and extremely quiet, tucked away in a village, with easy parking just outside. This is not the place if you want apres-ski parties, but perfect if you want to ski and just be in the mountains. Owner (and ski instructor) Sergio Gaspard was welcoming and helpful, and I will definitely be back for a week of spring skiing next year.
The wi-fi wasn't super fast, but it was OK for Zoom meetings. A shopkeeper in Valtournenche told me that broadband is coming soon to the valley, though.
