The Space
Get ready for the ultimate group getaway with all the comforts of home (and then some)! Our pet-friendly lodge sleeps a whopping 29 people in 6 cozy bedrooms, all equipped with comfortable beds (including some fancy king-size ones) and plenty of extra pillows and blankets to go around. And with bunk beds for the kiddos (or the young at heart), there's plenty of room for everyone to get a good night's sleep.
The little ones will love the playroom stocked with toys and games, and with a crib, pack 'n play, high chair, and children's dinnerware, we've got the littlest members of your group covered too. When it's time to eat, our fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to whip up a feast (and the dishwasher will take care of the mess). And when it's time to relax, curl up in front of the indoor fireplace with a cup of coffee from the drip coffee maker or Keurig machine. Plus, you'll feel right at home with a dedicated workspace and all the bath and shower necessities you could need. And when it's time to head out and explore, our front door smart lock makes it a breeze. There's even space to park multiple cars in the driveway. But that's not all - don't forget about Mariposa Grove, Fish Camp, and so many other nearby attractions. Whether you're seeking adventure or just want to relax and take in the stunning scenery, you'll find it all here at our Oakhurst retreat.
Other Things To Note
You'll be greeted by a fancy touchscreen menu on the wall as soon as you open the front door. It's basically like having your own personal assistant (except it doesn't talk back). This menu has all the info you need to make the most of your stay, including suggestions for the best places to eat, play, and shop around town.
But don't just rely on the menu - if you need any help or have questions during your stay, don't be shy! Just give us a shout, and we'll be happy to assist.
We're excited to have you as our guests and want you to feel at home during your stay. While we love to entertain and have a good time, we ask that you keep in mind that our home is not suitable for events or parties. We want to make sure our neighbors are able to enjoy their time as well, so please keep the noise levels down after 10 pm.
And don't worry, we've got your back when it comes to chores. We know that some Airbnb owners have a habit of charging huge cleaning fees and then leaving you a huge "chores check-out" list. But not us! We have a strict "no chores" policy. So please, don't feel obligated to strip the beds, wash anything, or even take out the garbage unless you want or need to. Just respect our place and have a great time!
That being said, we encourage you to have a great time with your family and friends during your stay. Just sit back, relax, and let us take care of the details. We can't wait to welcome you to our cozy cabin in the beautiful mountains of Oakhurst.

Everything was ok but, we saw two black widows and two rats in the house.But we had a great time the house landscape can use some work.

We had a great time staying at this property! It’s full of character, has tons of space, and kept everyone entertained! No one was ever bored. The beds were so comfy! The location is great too, just 7–10 minutes from Bass Lake. A few friendly FYIs for future guests:There are quite a few steps throughout the house, and we had a couple of slips and near falls, so be cautious, especially with little ones or older guests. This was something we were aware of when booking and was not a deal breaker for us. I only wanted to note it so others are aware in case of accessibility concerns. The upstairs layout includes a room you walk through to get to the bunk room. It’s something to keep in mind if you're trying to manage quiet times for napping kids.Some bathrooms are shared between two rooms and have double entry doors, so be sure to lock both sides for privacy.Cell service is very limited. Verizon and Xfinity had one bar in a few spots. T-Mobile and AT&T had no service at all. Wi-Fi worked best in the dining and theater areas and was weaker elsewhere in the house.My only suggestion... it would be helpful if the refrigerators were turned on a bit earlier before guest arrival, they took several hours to fully cool down and ready for use so there is no food spoilage or loss. Despite these little quirks, we really enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely love the chance to stay again!
