Gîtes Le Fer A Cheval Vassivière

Joli petit gîte, dans un hameau très calme, à proximité du lac. Propre, finitions soignées, correctement équipé. Le logement reste frais malgré la canicule. On peut aérer allègrement la nuit : contre toute attente, il n’y a pas de moustiques dans la région ! Informations touristiques et brochures à jour disponibles dans le gîte. Conseils avisés de la propriétaire en matière de restaurants, par exemple !

L’espace extérieur est assez réduit, quelques mètres carrés devant le gîte, au bord de la rue ( mais le trafic est quasi inexistant : passage de 2 ou 3 voitures par jour 😉) : juste une table , 4 chaises et un petit parasol, insuffisant pour réellement apporter de l’ombre. Un compartiment congélation dans le frigo serait un plus.

La localisation est super ! Le Gîte est très agréable, très bien aménagé, et très propre ! Le petit jardin est très sympa, je recommande cet hébergement !

Le calme, la proximité du lac, jolie petite maison en pierre joliment rénovée. Très grande chambre et bonne literie.

Spiral staircase was difficult and not mentioned in the description nor was there a photo showing this. Needs to be mentioned especially for people with limited mobility. We don't have any mobility issues but we struggled, especially taking the suitcase upstairs. Needs another parasol in the garden as current one sits in the middle of the table and is ineffective for most of the day. Garden is to the front and not private, though there is little passing traffic. Bedroom 2 is directly off bedroom 1, so no privacy if sharing with friends. There is no blind on the window in the first bedroom so light floods in in the morning. Bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor, toilet is located next to the settee so again no privacy if sharing with friends, ground floor living room could be rearranged to resolve this. For a 4 bedroom property there are not enough comfortable seats in the living room Could do with a fridge with a freezer box and a microwave in the kitchen.
