A lovely house, so clean and all the facilities you would need I.e cooking kit, iron & ironing board etc

The space, the living room and bedrooms were fantastic in terms of space with all that we needed. Also the location was fantastic. Really warm too with the under floor heating

2 of the bedrooms needed new mattresses, the first bedroom on the ground floor and the 1st bedroom on the 2nd floor (the one that was not en-suite). Also needed a door mat in the hallway to wipe your feet on when you entered the house. The fridge and freezer were very small for such a large property that has potential to host 8 people but for 4 of us it was ok.

The hosts left lots of useful items and nice touches to make our stay more comfortable and having some of the essentials we had forgotten to hand was great. It’s also a great location for access to Newborough forest and a walk along the estuary was also lovely. The house is really spacious, clean and modern with views of the coastline out of the top floor windows.

We missed the fact that the hot tub wasn’t included in the cost. The upcharge to include it for a weekend was unreasonable at £200. Especially as the hot tub was already running throughout the majority of the day. Doesn’t seem a very economical way to run it. A smaller charge would probably encourage more people to use it and if it’s running anyway then it’s less of a waste! It’s next to a pub which could be a bit noisy from the downstairs bedrooms and there was a lot of barking from dogs in the nearby kennels. The dishwasher needs a clean/ service as it wasn’t cleaning the dishes very well.
