The villa belongs in the beautiful small complex of Altera cave villas, a tranquil adults-only retreat on the south coast of Rethymno, Crete. Boasting panoramic sea views and situated just 100 meters from a beach, this unique villa offers a harmonious blend of modern luxury and eco-friendly design. Ideal for couples or small groups, the villa features a private heated swimming .The villa is located only 3 kilometers from local taverns, cafes, bars, and a mini-market, all operational from April to October.
Designed with bioclimatic architecture and adhering to nearly zero energy consumption principles, the villa seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings. The villa has a single-floor layout with a total of two main rooms, one master bedroom with a double bed and another room which is used either as a second bedroom with two single beds that can be also turned to a double or as a living room (if used as a second bedroom an outside open living area is provided). There are also two modern bathrooms, a fully equipped open-plan modern kitchen and a veranda with outdoor furniture. The villa is fully air-conditioned and equipped with Satellite TV and Wi-Fi coverage in all areas.
Step outside to your private oasis, where a 28-square-meter swimming pool awaits (heated upon request at least one week prior to arrival in April, May, October, and November at an additional charge of €50 per night with a comfortable temperature of 22-25°C, depending on the weather) surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and outdoor furniture. A private terrace provides the perfect setting for alfresco dining or unwinding with the breathtaking views of the sea, pool, and lush garden. For your convenience, the property offers private parking with two designated spaces and a peaceful ambiance, ideal for relaxation.
At the properties areas exclusive wellness services are offered, including Spa, Hamam, Massage, and Yoga sessions (available at an additional cost) while sunbeds, and umbrellas are available at the beach just 150 meters down the hill .

We spend some beautiful and relaxing days at the villa. Service was good and the villa offered everything we needed.
It's a long drive to get there from any of the airports but it was worth it!
