Fraser Island - Holiday Villa Heaven

Great for families, comfortable lounge, great cooking facilities. Fantastic communication, will definitely stay again! Was handy to have a break from cold/ rain and camping.

Shower curtain very short and bathroom got quite wet.

Lovely location, clean and everything we needed was supplied. Nothing negative about the accommodation, we liked it

The stairs to the accommodation was the only issue. With a bad knee it was hard getting up and down to the accommodation

K'Gari is such a magnificant location, and this villa being in the Kingfisher Bay Resort makes the stay all the more enjoyable with great choices for bars and coffee each day. The kitchen was well stocked and the villa has all the amentities you could need. The laundry was particularly handy for cleaning and drying our beach towels.

The couch is probably due for an upgrade, and some more storage in the second room if I had to nit pick.

Pros: • Great location, set back from the main thoroughfare • Spacious deck and excellent villa layout • Easy parking just across the access road • Air conditioning worked well in lounge and main bedroom • Kitchen reasonably well equipped

Cons: • Noise travels easily between villas once occupied • Around 25 stairs to access villa — not ideal with luggage or limited mobility • Interior is dated; couch heavily stained, although covers have been added as a fix • Bathroom setup (shower over bath with steps) can be slippery due to water spillage - needs a full curtain instead of the half curtain currently in place • Toilet cistern made constant noise, louder after flushing (had to keep door shut at night) • Oven not working despite appearing on • Coffee machine not functioning, needs descaling • Largest gas burner on stove flared up when trying to be used (others OK) • Dishwasher drawers don’t clean effectively when loaded - drawers are too shallow for normal plates • Towels soft but not very absorbent
