Good base but very small even for two people

Location was good although a little far out. Cottage is lovely but I wouldn’t like to stay inthe winter months because the heating isn’t adequate and the cottage was chilly

Not a sea view and extremely disconnected

The lock box didn't open for long. Same with door locks.

This is NOT SEA VIEW apartment as advertised on the booking site. Highly disappointed and defrauded with that. This place was in the middle of nowhere. Only 3 buses going in and out of this location. We got stranded in Penzance as there was no return bus in the evening. Property manager knew that I had planned my trip by bus and was not travelling by car. we did lot of chatting discussing travel and early check-in etc, for which I had to pay. Even then I wasn't informed that this property isn't well connected but a very small village in middle of nowhere. At the time of searching on booking, I had selected Sea View property and the photos showed a sea view from window. Also, this is a very small modern cottage, nothing to offer as an experience other than getting stranded or not reaching anywhere. There is no grocery or shop. Nearest shop is 3.8 miles in Penzance.

Facilities were very good, bed was comfortable. Kitchen well equipped but lacked a large frying pan.

Coffee machine didn’t seem to work, shower curtain allowed bathroom floor to get wet.

Clean, location and amenities as described, well equipped kitchen, modern appliances.

The mattresses and pillows are very uncomfortable, they need an upgrade. Since there are no doors inside other than the bathroom one, noise travels a lot so it feels like being in one space without privacy. Plenty of cleaning supplies were available but no soap was provided. The roads to get there are very narrow - do not recommend to stay there if planning to go out at night.

Just the relaxing getaway we needed!

Very easy access, clean and very quiet. Lovely decorated throughout. Really enjoyed our stay, and the cottage made it more relaxing. Not far to travel to see the South of Cornwall either. Very dog friendly.

It was a lovely location. Very quite

The property could be clearer. When we first entered the property, it seemed clean and comfortable. However, I could soon see that the corners and the edges was full of cob webs and not at all clean. It felt really dirty. We tried to keep it clean, but the corners and the floor edges were just bad. The windows did not appear they had ever been opened. The windows were stiff to open. However, I did manage to open it but as soon as I opened, bugs fell out. The windows needed to be open as they were damp. The place needed airing out very badly. The place is not big enough for a family of 4. It should not he offered as such. Even though it had sofa beds, the place itself is quite small. It will not be a place we will revisit. We stayed out most of the day, regardless of the rain.

Amazing!

The cottage is on a country side in peace and silence around 10 mins away from centre of Penzance. On a clear day sea views were visible in distance from the bedroom window. The place was very warm welcoming and cosy. It had all the essentials needed to have a great time. It had a small garden to enjoy the morning coffee and relax. The owners were absolutely lovely and helpful. It was easy to find and it had a car space right on the door step. Our trip to Cornwall was mainly ideal due to amazing accommodation.

Nice little cottage stay

Loved the style of the loft room, the welcome hamper, everything was very clean and kitchen had all we needed.

We thought that as the room was large upstairs it would be nice to have a bigger bed. Also no way to shut morning sun out so woke quite early. Toilet door is right next to cooking area. Parking was on road.

Very good

They were very friendly in welcoming us and gave us a lovely welcome hamper with coffee, biscuits, pancakes, sugar and milk. As well as there being a nice coffee machine. It was very clean and nicely decorated giving a lovely atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was lovely and well specced for a cottage with everything you could need. The area was also lovely and peaceful with good access to penzance and the sea. Would however recommend that anyone with a large vehicle does not follow the sat nav from the cottage to penzance as it takes you down a very thin bridleway and instead just drive to the a30. Overall a genuinely lovely place to stay that I would highly recommend for any couple.

The only thing that let's this cottage down in a very minor way is that the shower is a rather weak electric shower that can run a bit cold. I do understand however that due to the solid granite walls an electric is necessary but would recommend looking at a better electric as for anyone who a good shower is a must it's the only thing that slightly lets down the property although certainly is not a major issue

Questo piccolo cottage è davvero troppo isolato, ubicato in una frazione anonima piuttosto trascurata raggiungibile dalla strada principale con la classica stradina stretta di questa regione lunga circa 1,5 miglia. Cottage spartano negli arredi e nell’attrezzatura della cucina con una sola camera da letto al piano superiore. Area verde esterna piccola e trascurata. Parcheggio libero in strada. Non proprio gradita la presenza di qualche ragno all’interno della casa.

Schönes Häuschen, mit ein wenig Verbesserungspotenzial.

Das Haus ist generell sehr goldig und die Lage ist super! Die kleine Terrasse ist auch schön und praktisch um Wäsche / Strandtücher zu trocknen. Der obere Stock ist echt schön und generell ist alles sehr hübsch gestaltet.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist ausbaufähig. Die Töpfe sind nicht unbedingt lecker anzusehen. Das Bad ist leider etwas muffelig und der Duschvorhang gehört getauscht. Im Gegensatz zu oben ist es im Erdgeschoss nicht so sauber.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus auf dem Land in sehr ruhiger Lage. Komplett ausgestattet und sauber. Betten sehr komfortabel. Lage sehr zentral um Penzance, Land s End und St. Inves zu erreichen.
