For the amount of money spent, it was a very disappointing stay dramatically affected by noise from the building works.

The location of the property is fantastic along with the stunning view. The outside area is spacious with a nice pool. There is a fully stocked supermarket 10 minutes walk away. The walk down into town is easy and it was very simple to get taxis home.

The upstairs bedrooms are a little basic and could benefit from a few simple changes to improve the aesthetics dramatically. Unfortunately during our stay, the adjacent building work was in full action and the noise was horrendous, starting 7.30am every morning and finishing at 7pm each night. This had a dramatic effect on our stay which should have been a relaxing few days by a pool. The noise made this impossible.

A villa with a beautiful view and pool and excellent access to the area.

The pool and the view are fabulous. Sitting around the pool for breakfast and drinks in the evening was a highlight. Very easy walk down to the port, slightly tougher with the stairs on the way back up, but great exercise! Damien, our host, could not have been more helpful. We didn’t have pool towels, so he went out and bought them straight away! We needed an extra set of keys, and he dropped them off immediately. The hot water went off and he had a guy fix it that day. Such great service.

The bed linen is very old and used looking. Whilst it is 3 bathrooms, one of the bathrooms is in the children’s room with the bunk beds downstairs so it’s a better layout for 2 families with one family of 5 being upstairs and one family of 4 being downstairs.

A great stay in a glorious setting but with a few puzzling everyday items not supplied.

While most things that you would expect in a high-end property were in place, there were some odd things missing, mostly in the downstairs apartment which had no toilet paper and, despite an elaborate and impressive kitchen, no electric kettle, no microwave, no kitchen bin or bin liners, no washing-up detergent and no plug in the kitchen sink (or in the bathroom sink). Upstairs there also was no plug in the kitchen sink, no bin liners for the kitchen bin, no paper towel, no dish-washing detergent, no face cloth in the bathroom and an unduly limited supply of toilet paper.
