Olga the host was great! The apartment was very clean indeed.

There were a few maintenance issues… We chose an apartment because we wanted to be able to cook our own breakfast and lunch. When we got there we were told that the hob only had one out of four rings working. There was a new plug-in electrical induction ring in a box at the side of the hob which was a good attempt at a solution. However, only one pan, a frying pan was suitable for an induction hob so that did limit things a little bit. There were five lightbulbs out across the apartment, two of which were in the bathroom above the sink and mirror so that wasn't very helpful. We didn't go on holiday to watch TV, but whenever it was plugged in, it was on. The remote wouldn't turn it off so it was either on or unplugged.

The host was excellent, very nice and was very helpful. Extremely clean apartment. Location was good, near buses. 10 or more minutes walk to beach. The apartment complex itself was very quiet as it was mostly used by locals and not tourist rentals. Bedroom was very bright and had a very comfortable and clean bed with nice sheets.

Paddy O' Kelly's pub was very close and had music every night until midnight which can be clearly heard. When music stopped we heard traffic going up and down the road outside late into the night as the windows were aluminium single glaze which gave no sound protection. Maybe this would not bother other people and there is a picture of the road on Bookings.Com which should have alerted us. While the balcony seemed big (wrapped around the apartment) there are no comfortable seats that you would like to spend time on. While kitchen area had lots of presses and was well equipped it was very dark (due to one half of patio door being obscured by steel shutter which could not be pulled back any further). The living area was smaller than any apartment we stayed in with no English speaking channels on TV (this won't affect everyone). Can only fit one small couch which fits 2 people. There is a lovely swimming pool which is not used much and has around 10 sunbeds but we could not see any cushions in the apartment for the plastic beds (maybe they were there and we didn't see them).
