Friendly staff, 24 hour reception. The old building was also nice. It faced Kennedy park so I could walk to the malecon. They had halloween decorations up to give it a festive feel.
I found the mattress a bit soft for me. And a police whistle directing traffic most of the night until the wee hours was not what I would like to hear again. Not their fault, just to let travellers know. Bring Ear Plugs.

Location, friendliness of staff
The room was at the top level and there were noisy pigeons all night long. Not a very good sleep.
