Goede plek buiten het centrum met restaurants, markt en supermarkten in de directe omgeving. Vervoersmogelijkheden naar centrum met bus zijn prima en metrostation Castro Pretoria (lijn B) op 850 m afstand.

Bereikbaarheid van personeel via site Booking was in het begin lastig. Via telefoon ging beter.

A localização é muito boa! Conseguimos ir à estação de trem caminhando. Havia restaurantes e mercados próximos ao local. Tudo muito limpo, camas confortáveis. Nos atendeu em tudo!

Único ponto negativo é foi em relação a água quente. Estávamos em 5 pessoas e no primeiro dia não nos atentamos que a água do chuveiro ficava em boiler. Por isso tivemos que aguardar aquecer novamente para que todos tomassem banho mas a partir do 2º dia nos programamos para isso e deu tudo certo.

The power went out 2 nights in a row for quite a few hours which meant the lift didn’t work which made checking out from the 4th floor with all our suitcases a challenge.

The location was good. Quiet, nice neighborhood 10-15 mins away by bus from the city center (very well connected with lots of buses). The building is quite posh and very comfy. The apartment is quite big and once you get there it looks amazing. It has everything you need for your stay (kitchen supplies, iron and board, washing machine, and plenty of towels and sheets under the beds). We did really feel at home during our stay and the communication with the host was fast and excellent. But I can’t give it a high rating because there were a lot of issues going on that need to be solved.

The mattresses are very soft. And I mean VERY soft. You sink into them. The bathroom sink is clogged and drains VERY slowly (it kept on getting worse and by the end of our stay it took hours to drain). The overhead shower barely works, so you have to use the handheld shower instead. The air conditioning drains into water containers that you have to keep emptying, otherwise they overflow if you don’t keep an eye on them during your stay. The fridge has to be shut firmly and deliberately, otherwise it stays slightly open, and it doesn’t get particularly cold either (it’s quite old). One of the dining chairs is broken. The first-aid kit was empty. This isn’t the host’s fault, but the lift broke down and we were unable to use it for almost two days (possibly because it was Ferragosto and also a Sunday). Don’t know if it’s a problem going on with it or we just had bad luck. But know it can happen if you’re old, disabled or can’t walk up 4 floors daily.
