My seagull

We stayed for a five night break at My Seagull as a family of four. This villa is absolutely stunning, even better than the photos. It’s one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, in terms of space, quality and the beautiful views - we were really sad to leave and hope to come back over the next couple of years. Everything seemed pretty much brand new, and was spotlessly clean on arrival. It’s a really big villa, we had tons of space - all three bedrooms have their own en-suites and balconies which worked brilliantly for our family. The beds were extremely comfortable with high quality bed linens, and loads of towels were provided for inside and outside. The outside space is amazing. We used the pool everyday - perfect to cool off and plenty big enough for our group. The outdoor terraces offered a mix of sunny and shady spaces which was ideal for us, and in comparison to Split (where we’d been for three nights before and got bitten) we didn’t find mosquitoes a problem at this villa or area at all, so another massive bonus for us. Aleksandra met us on arrival and popped back the day before we checked out. She was so lovely and obviously works extremely hard to keep this villa looking so pristine - there’s a lot to clean here! The area of Vela Luka is really quiet and we slept brilliantly, but a really nice 10 minute walk to the taxi boat to take you across into Vela Luka, where there are lots of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. It has a really local feel, which we loved. We had a car and did head to the old town a couple of times (about 40 minutes), but the villa and local area were so nice, that we stayed at the villa for the majority of our time, enjoying the villa and the views. Other practical things to note: - The kitchen has a huge fridge and freezer, and is large enough to comfortably cook a meal and there’s all the basics like salt, pepper, oil to save buying new and having to waste.

Great outdoor living spaces with views from almost every angle.

It would be hard to stay here without a car as nothing is in walking distance unless you’re prepared to walk over / kilometres. Have to bring your own body wash, soap etc.

My seagull is a beautiful, modern house. Spacious and comfortable, great outdoor spaces and a gorgeous view of the stunning coastline. The sunsets every evening were incredible. Aldo is a great host, responsive and helpful

Nothing not to like

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful property. The pool and sauna are fantastic and there is a variety of small beaches a few minutes walk from the house. We appreciated everyone having their own en-suite bathroom as well as a powder room close to the pool. We made use of the gas BBQ and excellent kitchen facilities however there are also many dining options in and around Vela Luka if you prefer to eat out. The property was exceptionally clean with great amenities and well maintained. Aldo and Aleksandra were very friendly and great hosts. We loved our time at My Seagull and hope to come back soon.
