Hotel Marina Badalona

The hotel is so good and clean. Brigh and comfy.

Very nice hotel with all the facilities and friendly welcoming staff. Breathtaking views, great room design, great restaurant. The area seems new and still developing to become a great resort. Currently, seems somewhat low key. I would feel a bit uneasy if I had to walk there on my own after dark. There was nothing to prove me right, it was just my gut feel.

I couldnt believe this was not on list of the most lixurious hotels in barcelona!!! it was out last day of trip and we booked at last hour and we were skeptical if it would be quite like on photo, but it has exceeded our expectations. Such a clean clean, fancy hotel! five starts all day!!

The hotel was good all in all if you compare with the other ones in Badalona…I think maybe one of the best hotels at that area but not that luxury as it is written in the websites and reviews, need some improvements btw. There are few things I need to mention. Far from metro and train if you want to go to center like rambla and barceloneta and central must visit places, you need to get out of the hotel at least an hour earlier cause it is 20 minutes to reach to both train and metro. And another 40-45minutes to center from gorg metro station…. Every day same breakfast with no variaties at all. You dont have many choises and options and besides it, if something endes they don’t refill it immediately. Rooftop pool is sooo small for that hotel, it’s like a private pool for two-four people! The minibar of the room is very small that you cant buy anything from outside store and leave in it cause it’s super tiny. And the worst thing there is no opening window in the rooms, my husband was claustrophobic and first day when we arrived at midnight he felt really bad in a standard room (stanadard rooms are really small and it is oppressive and overwhelming) that we slept uncomfortably and the other day I asked to reception to change our room and thanks to Emma, she really helped us a lot to change the room to a bigger one with a big panoramic view window which again doesnt have balcony but anyways makes us feel better because of the normal size and we stayed there till the end. The hotel is at the port badalona and the view is magnificent, in the evenings there are cafes and restaurants nearby and lovely actvities. Also there are stores nearby for daily uses with normal prices which was appreciable. And another lovely point just a few minutes away from beach…negative point is that the hotel doesnt have any beach bed and lovely beach zone unfortunately which would be more convenient for all the visitors in my opinion.
