About this apartment rental
The master bedroom has one double bed,an air codition,a build in closet and two beautiful small pine tree logs used as night stand.The beroom has access to the north balcony with a beautiful mountain view.The second bedroom has two single beds ,an air contition,a build in closet and window facing north.The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer.
The kitchen is very well equiped with a refrigerator,an electric cooker with oven,an espresso coffee machine..Everything you need to prepare your breakfast,your meal or your dinner is there.
In the cozy living room,facing south, you will relax at the comfortable 2mtr build in couch while enjoying the astonishing view of the endless sea and the 5 klm beach, '' The Long Beach''.Long Beach is awarded every year with the Blue flag award.The apartment / studio is located at Koutsounari , a small village 6km east of Ierapetra , the southernmost town of Crete. In Koutsounari, with several restaurants – mostly greek and cretan cuisine – and also tourist shops and mini markets to buy whatever you need .
Quite close ( 1km from the village) lies one of the longest cretan beaches , about 5km long, Long Beach . At some points, near some hotels, the beach is organized with mild interventions (sun umbrellas , showers, small taverns and seaside sports) . Due to its vast surface, such a popular beach remains quiet , almost private , with crystal clear waters, fine sand and grayish pebbles and several tamarisks that offer their shade on the hottest days.
9 km north from the beach, there is the village of Agios Ioannis (Saint John) , with picturesque narrow streets and old churches . The village is built on a green hill with pine trees and olive groves , with springs and running waters even in the summer months . Easily accessible and very impressive is the gorge and waterfalls of Milonas. Inside the village of Agios Ioannis, an alternative bar, that resembles a museum or a small art gallery awaits, to offer relaxation and entertainment. In the "55" music café you can taste fine wines or a special beer , listen to mainly rock/reggae tunes and enjoy the breathtaking view.

Agréable séjour dans un appartement calme, jouissant d'une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer avec un équipement permettant de cuisiner. La plage est à moins de 5mn en voiture.

The house has a spectacular view on the see and a very beautiful balcony to relax during the evening. The kitchen is well equipped and clean and was supplied with food for the first meal (we are Italian and the coffee machine was exceptional).
The climate is very hot in August and luckily there was an air conditioner in every room.
Nikos is very helpful and showed us the main restaurants, markets, beaches to have fun and satisfy the needs of a family on vacation.

The property owner could not have been more helpful (he waited until 1.30am for us to arrive at the property) the accommodation was spacious and an ideal base and place to rest for our exploration of Crete.
Only gave 4 stars for location as you will need a car.
