Bardia Wildlife Resort

Très belle découverte au cœur de la nature, à deux pas du parc national de Bardia. L’endroit est paisible et authentique, parfait pour se déconnecter et profiter pleinement de l’environnement. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et bienveillant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. L’expérience dans le parc a été un vrai moment fort du voyage : des paysages superbes et la chance d’observer la vie sauvage, notamment les tigres, dans leur habitat naturel. Un guide passionné et très professionnel. Mention spéciale à Rishi, qui a largement contribué à rendre cette expérience mémorable. La nourriture était également de qualité, avec des repas savoureux tout au long du séjour. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter pour une immersion nature réussie au Népal.

The safari experience was outstanding, largely thanks to the guide. His knowledge of the jungle was on another level—he could identify animals from the faintest rustle or distant bird call, and somehow managed to spot wildlife (and even climb trees to find it) when other guides came up empty. It made the whole experience not just successful, but also really fun! We saw 6 tigers, 3 rhinos and a huge herd of elephants and for the majority, it was just us - no other people. Back at the lodge, the food was just as impressive: consistently delicious, generous portions, and even the safari meals and snacks (included in Safari price) were well thought out and satisfying. The setting is ideal too—right by the river and only five minutes from the park entrance. All in, this place delivers exceptional value. Compared to other options in the area, it’s a bit of a bargain. Would absolutely recommend.

Great place to stay for proximity to getting into Bardiya National Park. Very friendly staff, family atmosphere and they worked hard for our enjoyment of Safari’s. Beautiful gardens to sit and relax in.

Safari’s are not cheap so think about how many days you’re going to stay.

Das Bardia Wildlife Resort liegt traumhaft in Mitten eines herrlichen Gartengeländes direkt gegenüber dem Bardia Nationalpark, getrennt nur von einer Strasse und dem Zaun, der die Wildtiere abhalten soll (durch den man aber durch eine Tür an den Fluss kann, ich habe dort Affen beim trinken beobachten können). Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ebenso der Guide Rishi, mit dem ich 2 Tage (je einer im Jeep und zu Fuß) im Nationalpark verbracht habe und der mir dort viele Informationen und Eindrücke gegeben hat. Das Essen war auch hervorragend, lecker und frisch, wobei viele Zutaten direkt aus eigenem Anbau gekommen sind. Ich habe selten so einen tollen Aufenthalt gehabt. Meine Tips: Das Resort organisiert sowohl den Transport (z.B. zum Flughafen Nepalgunjc) als auch die Touren im Bardia Nationalpark (s.o.), es gibt auch gereinigtes Wasser aus Glasflaschen - dann reduziert man zumindest etwas den Plastikmüll.
