Guesthouse D&D

Abbiamo alloggiato con 4 bambini per 3 notti, così da poter vedere i laghi di Plitvice in 2 giorni con calma. Appartamento a gestione familiare con spazio a sufficienza per la nostra famiglia di 6 persone. C’è la possibilità di avere la colazione su richiesta. Viene preparata dai proprietari ed è veramente buona e abbondante, con la possibilità di essere consumata in appartamento o in giardino. Le camere sono spaziose, tutte con balcone. Nelle finestre ci sono le zanzariere, che sono sempre utili. L’ingresso 2 dei laghi di Plitvice è a soli 10-15 minuti di auto. Il posto è tranquillissimo, immerso nel verde. Nel giardino c'è qualche gioco per bambini, che i miei hanno utilizzato.

Angolo cottura piccolo, senza forno e senza lavastoviglie, ma c'è tutto quello che serve. Dato che in zona si rimane solo qualche giorno per vedere i laghi, va più che bene e per noi non è stato per niente un problema. Lo segnalo solo per chi ama avere una cucina spaziosa anche in vacanza. C’è un bagno solo. C'è una scalinata per raggiungere il primo piano dove c'era il nostro appartamento. Lo segnalo solo per chi dovesse avere problemi di deambulazione.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Guesthouse D&D! The host was amazing — very friendly, responsive, and excellent in communication from start to finish. The house is beautiful, clean, and well-decorated with great attention to detail. It has complete amenities that made my stay super comfortable, including a well-equipped kitchen, cozy living space, and convenient parking. The location is great, and everything you might need is easily accessible. You can really tell that the hosts take great pride in their guesthouse — everything was perfectly prepared and thoughtfully arranged. I truly felt at home. Highly recommended! Thank you, Guesthouse D&D, for such a lovely and comfortable stay — I would definitely come back again!

Spacious and tidy apartment. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming — they shared useful information and tips for visiting Plitvice Lakes. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and there’s a large open field where children can play, which was a big plus.

That said, let’s be honest — the location is truly in the middle of nowhere. If you’re traveling by car, it’s manageable, but otherwise, you wouldn’t even be able to reach the accommodation. The kitchen could be better equipped — there could be more utensils, the pots could be of better quality, and the knives really need sharpening. There’s also no cooker hood above the stove. Since it’s an electric one, boiling water takes ages. For a one-night stay it was fine, we managed to cook dinner, but for a longer stay we wouldn’t choose it. The bathroom is accessed through the stairway — it wasn’t a big issue for us, but in principle, it’s not very convenient.
