Great location and easy access to the room

The bed being up against the wall made getting in and out for my husband in his 80,s a bit difficult. We arrived back at the appt on the Sunday evening to find the bathroom light not working and some slight drops of water falling from the air con on the ceiling which meant we were reluctant to use the shower before leaving to go home. I phoned to let them know and someone turned up to look at it but the work was not completed before we left.

The building was clean and pleasant. It was located a short-ish walk from the Tube station at Earls Court. When we finally got the garden view room (which we had requested) on the 2nd day, the maintenance staff were very helpful.

The instructions for arrival did not make it clear that there would not be anyone there to check us in & that there is no reception desk. The only staff was cleaning staff. We did not even know what room we were in. We did not know the code to get in the door. Luckily, we were helped by other guests who were also trying to get checked in - they gave us the wifi password. Using the PW, I was able to check WhatsApp for a message that was sent only 15 minutes before the arrival time we had provided. That message had the wifi code, our room number and & its entry code. We were given a room that faced the street (traffic noise) - they said that they had "upgraded" us to a "family room". Our complaint was not dealt with that day, but on our 2nd day, we were moved to a quiet room. In both rooms, the safe was not operable - gave an error message. We complained both times and they said they would fix it but nobody ever came. The stove instructions were only provided through a website on the building facilities and did not match the stove that was in our room. The rooms are what I would call "minimal" - bed, nightstand (first room only had one), table and 2 chairs, no hairdryer.

I wanted to leave a bit later, at 1pm, but for 2 hours extension they demanded 60 pounds!! This is ridiculous, as if you go the restaurant to have a good meal for 3, you will pay the same money! These guys are super greedy and not customer oriented! The kitchen cupboards are extremely high, so if you are short reaching a cup requires acrobatics skills, invention, or help of another person. Oh.. and they sent me a whole info regarding another customer, so maybe my info was leaked somewhere too.
